Chapter Twenty Six - Discharged

Chelsea was limping around the hospital room and not putting much pressure on her right leg as she didn't want her stitches to split like yesterday. She looked in front of the mirror for the second a looked at her blonde highlights she got done when Sevanah and her went on their little annual girl day. She misses those and cannot wait to do one again.

"You're not supposed to be walking," Alejandro said while slowly turning Chelsea to the bed. Chelsea was frustrated and didn't want to fight with him so let him lead her to the bed. He started packing her belongings and Chelsea got changed out of her hospital gown and into a fresh change of clothes that Alejandro bought while Alejandro was distracted and was packing her stuff up.

The tension in the room was noticeable not one of them daring to say a word.

Chelsea POV

The car ride was silent and I was just on my phone posting another draft to Tik Tok.

"I'm sorry." He said almost like a whisper not looking at me. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to lash out at him. "Please say something," he said.

"Why her?" I said looking out the window so he couldn't see my eyes starting to water. "Do you even remember that time she made you hate me because she lied to you. She's a liar and a cheater and you're still going back to her." I couldn't hide my anger and my tears anymore.

"I wanted t-"

"Don't even talk to me," I said while he was pulling up into his driveway.

The car ride felt like it took years but we finally arrived at their house. I got out of the car and slammed the door. Sevanah came out and gave me her crutches she still had since she broke her ankle last year. She looked at me and gave me a worried expression. I hopped my way to Sevanah's bedroom and I heard Sevanah whisper to Alejandro, "Stay away from her." I knew she was looking out for me and honestly, I think its best if we do keep our distance from each other.

I went past Alejandro's room and saw how messy it was. I saw his trophy on the floor and it was broken in pieces, it's like he destroyed his room. I would've helped him clean it up but he has angered me so much, I don't even want to look at him. I went into Sevanah's bed and snuggled up in the pink blanket that she has had since she was a baby.

Stephanie walked in with a mug of hot chocolate and a marshmallow my absolute favourite.

"Thank you for letting me stay here," I said while sipping the hot beverage.

"Anytime, you're always welcomed," she said while putting her hand on top of mine that was placed on my lap. "How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good." I lied. I didn't want to tell her that I'm upset with her son, I couldn't do that. I'm not like that.

"I heard your mum went to the hospital." I nodded and put the hot chocolate on Sevanah's bedside table.

"Yeah she did, she basically said I was staying here," I said not wanting to say anything else.

She didn't say anything. I just wished I knew what she was thinking but I think she feels sorry for me. She is basically my mum and she has helped raised me while mum has been working non-stop. I yawned and Stephanie took it as a hint to leave which I was kinda grateful as I was exhausted.

"Sleep tight, I will wake you up in a few hours so you can sleep tonight." I just gave her a small smile and shut my eyes. I couldn't wait to sleep.

Sorry for the horrible chapter. I'm going to be posting these next few chapters as they will be pretty boring but I just want to show the character development during these chapters so I will be updating a lot more.
