Chapter Thirty Five - Another Crew Member

Chelsea POV

"I went to the mall this morning and I bumped into Antonia she wants to hang out," I said to Sevanah and Alejandro.

"When?" Sevanah asked.

"Tomorrow night," I said grabbing a cheese stick from the fridge to eat.

"Mattia and Kairi wanted to see you," Sevanah said.

"She can always come here," Alejandro said.

"What we're going to invite a total stranger to our house?" Sevanah said.

"We had a whole bunch of strangers when we had that party remember?" Alejandro said. "Plus this is Chelsea's sister was talking about, I think it will be good if they can get to know each other." He continued.

"Fine get her to come here but I don't trust that girl," Sevanah said while getting off of the couch and storming into her bedroom. Something is up with her. One moment she's happy and the next she's not. Something is bothering her and I need to sort it out.

Alejandro turned on the TV and I sat close to him and cuddled into him, this was the first time I was showing really any affection since the kiss. At first, he was hesitant but he gave in and wrapped his arm around me and started playing with the ends of my hair. We were sitting in silence nothing heard but the TV and his steady heartbeat.

"Want to go on another date with me?" I just looked at him and smiled.

"Yeah of course."

"Friday night?" Alejandro asked

"Done but I want something lowkey," I said while looking back at the TV.

I got a notification and it was a message from Antonia asking whether it was okay for her to come over. I responded with a yes and informed her that Kairi and Mattia are coming over. I also sent her my location.

Alejandro and I just watched TV together and later Sevanah joined. Alejandro and I quickly stopped snuggling when Sevanah joined because we don't know what our relationship is and we haven't told anyone in the group but I do know Sevanah knows something is up because I don't think she believes me when I messaged her 'we're going out as just friends.'

Sevanah was telling us about a funny video she saw on Tik Tok and we were all laughing until we heard a knock at the door. I answered it and it revealed Antonia. I hugged my sister, I couldn't believe we have a chance of getting to know each other.

"How are you doing?" She said while I hugged her.

"I'm okay, just taking each day slowly. How are you?"

"I'm alright," Antonia said while putting her small bag on the couch.

"This is Alejandro and my best friend Sevanah." I said while introducing them to her.

"Hello guys, nice meeting you." She said.

Alejandro said nice to meet you whereas Sevanah just rolled her eyes not making her feel welcome at all. I'm starting to lose my patience with her.

Kairi and Mattia came not long after and I introduced Antonia to them as well.

"Looks like we have another person to add to the crew," Kairi said. I just giggled along with Antonia and everyone else just stayed quiet, this is very awkward. We stood there in awkward silence for a bit not knowing what to say. I wanted to ask Antonia about how she knew about me? if she knows my father? So many questions but I wanted to ask her at the funeral but I just couldn't. I needed to ask her these types of questions privately.

I gave Mattia a look to signal him to start talking as he never usually shuts up but today he seems like he knows how to keep his mouth shut.

"Can I please use the bathroom," Antonia asked.

"Yeah, it's straight ahead in the corridor and your first door to your right." She nodded and proceeded to walk off.

"Something is off," Mattia said. "She is apparently your sister but you had no idea who she was your whole life." I nodded. "This isn't adding up," Mattia said while pinching the bridge of his nose. "What do you know about her?" Mattia asked.

"Nothing at the moment," I said.

"That's what you need to do, get some kind of story from her," Mattia said.

"That's what I'm trying to do," I said getting a little frustrated. Luckily Antonia came out of the bathroom so this conversation could stop.

"Hey my dad is here, I need to go home. It was nice meeting you guys." Antonia said while opening the front door and leaving us.

"I'm not going to lie, I have a bad feeling about her," Sevanah said.

"I'm so annoyed at all of you," I said while crossing my arms out. "You couldn't have been normal and maybe help me find out more about her but instead you all sat there in awkward silence, thanks for the help you guys," I said sarcastically while walking into Chelsea's room and slamming the door.
