Chapter 14

Ahsoka pov

I open my eyes and yawn. I look to the side and see Rex still on call. He was awake. "Morning" I said. "Morning" he said. I get out of bed. "Rex I gotta go, see you later". I said. "Ok I'll see you later" he said. I hang up and I grab his hoodie and pull it on.

I walk out the room to see padme cooking breakfast. "Morning" she said cheerfully. I rub my eyes and yawn. "Morning" I said tiredly. I sit down on the chair in front of the counter padme was using to cook breakfast.

"Someone's tired" she said. I shrug my shoulders. I hear a door open and I turn my head. I see Satine.

"Morning" she said. "Morning" me and padme say. Padme finishes cooking breakfast and hands us our plates. It was eggs and sausage. We all start eating and talking. I hear the door bell ring. "I'll get it" I said getting up.

I walked over to the door and open it. I see Rex. "Hey Rex uh what are you doing here" I said. "Missed you" he said. "Yeah but what are you doing here?" I asked again. "You didn't bring your pain killers, thought you might need them later" he said handing me the container of them. "Thank you, I completely forgot about these" I said happily. "Well I got to go train the boys so i will see you later" he said giving me a quick peck on the lips. I waved as he left.

"What was that about" padme asked as I walked back to them. "I forgot My pain killers at home, he brought them, I also think he wanted an excuse to see me" I said. "Aw that's sweet, If I left my pain killers ani would probably say something like "well what do you want me to do?" Padme said and we all laughed. We finish eating and clean up. I swallow one of the pain killers with a glass of water and put the rest in my duffle bag in my room.

"So what should we do today?" I ask. "Hmm what if he invite the boys and we go like ice scating?" Satine suggested. "Ok, I know anakin is free today" padme said. "And so is Obiwan" Satine said.

"Let me check with Rex" I said. They nod. I pull up my com. "Rex" I said into it. I had called Rex. "Yes" he said. "What times are you free today?" I ask. "Um I finished training so all day" he said. "Ok" I said and hung up.

"So he is free" I said. "Ok, what time should we do?" Padme asked. "Well it's like 10 now" I said. "We could do 12? Cause we could go out to eat after or before" Satine suggested.

"I like that idea, and do we tell the boys what we are gonna do, or it be a surprise" padme asked. "Surprise definitely" Satine said. I nod in agreement. Morai flys to my shoulder. "Hey padme do you have any fruits or nuts" I asked her walking to the kitchen.

"Yeah I think I have some nuts in the pantry" she said. I nod. I walk over to the pantry and open the door. I look for a few minites then spot some nuts. I put some in a bowl and walk back to the table. I sit down and start feeding Morai.

"So ahsoka, what is your bond with Morai like?" Satine asked. I smile. "Well, it's pretty strong. She follows me around and everything. Protects me when she can. And fun fact, I can even communicate with her" I said. Satine's mouth dropped open. "Yeah there's like a little switch so I can hear her thoughts" I said petting Morai.

"That's really cool" Satine said. I nod. I bring the bowl over to the sink. I walk back and Morai goes over to the window. I open it and she flys out. I close it behind her.

"You trust her enough to do that?" Satine asked. "Well she's not my bird, shes more of a friend. She can do what she wants. But if she is hurt or needs help, I trust her to activate the switch and tell me" I said.

Satine nods. "So what should we do for the two hours" padme asked. "Well first we have to tell the boys to meet us here at 12" I said. "Then we get dressed and could like watch a movie" Satine said. We all nod in agreement and go to our rooms.
