Chapter 55

Rex pov

Time skip to after lunch

"Ok what should we do now?" I asked as we started walking back to my quarters. "Well we got interrupted earlier when we were cuddling" she said. I nod. We walk to my quarters.

Ahsoka lays down on the bed. I lay down to. Just not next to her. I was laying on my stomach halfway down the bed. Looking at her belly.

There's a child in there. My child. I couldn't stop smiling. "Rex what are you doing? It's a little creepy" I hear ahsoka say laughing a little. I look up at her. "There's a baby in there" I said poking her stomach. She chuckled a little and hit my hand away.

"I know Rex" she said chuckling. I look back down at her stomach. "My baby" I said happily. "your gonna be a dad" she said happily. "And your gonna be a mom" I said. She nods smiling.

Her smile fades fast though. I look up at her worried. "What's wrong?" I asked taking her hand in mine. "What if I don't make a good mom" she asked sadly. I kiss her knuckles.

"Ahsoka you will make the best mom" I said smiling. "But what if I don't" she said. "Well we are going to have many people to help. After all, this baby is going to have over a million uncles" I said fiddling with the engagement ring on her finger.

"Oh god, I didn't even realize that" she said. I laugh a little. "We will be walking through the halls with our baby, and every one of my brothers will probably ask to hold it" I said laughing. She groaned. "Oh my god" she said and I laughed.

"But we still have a while before that" I said. She nodded. "And by the way, you aren't going on any missions while your pregnant" I said smirking. She glared at me. "You can't control that" she said smugly.

"But anakin can" I said. She rolled her eyes. "Who said he will stop me from going on missions?" She said. I smirk.

"Well when you become one of his most trusted people, you learn a little stuff that could possibly be used as blackmail" I said quietly. She looked at me shocked.

"You wouldn't black mail him" she said in disbelief. I smiled at her smugly. "Oh I would" I said. She sighed.

"Well what kind of blackmail?" She asked. I move up on the bed and lay on my back. I look over at ahsoka.

"Now if I told you, you'd use it against him to go on missions" I said. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Ahsoka I'm sorry I just don't want you or the baby to get hurt" I said kissing her forehead. She sighs. "I know" she said. "Also you do realize the men are gonna get overprotective because your pregnant" I said. She groaned. "I know" she said and I laughed a little.

"Hey when am I supposed to take those pills?" She asked. I reach into my pocket and take the two containers out. I look at the labels. "It says take one pill every morning" I said. "So I take only one?" She asked confused.

"Well one of each" I said. She groaned. "I hate pills" she whined. I laughed a little. "Are we gonna tell the council about the baby or wait till after the wedding?" I asked. "Probably best to tell them after the wedding" she said. "But wouldn't it be best if we tell them now? So they know?" I asked.

"Well Obiwan and plo are on the council. And they will probably be just as bad as anakin when they find out you got me pregnant before marriage" she said laughing. I laugh a little.

I'm about to say something when she yawns. "Ahsoka get some sleep, it's been a crazy few hours" I said. She moved so her head was on my chest and my arm around her shoulder.

"I'll wake you up for dinner" I said kissing her forehead. She nods ok and I see her eyes close. Her breathing gets slower. She was alseep. I carefully get up careful not to wake her.

I walk over to my desk. I start filling out some paper work I was supposed to fill out a while ago.
