Some Merchant? [Batter x Reader x Zacharie] (OFF)

(Ch.3) So... What now?

        "Practice." You said, nodding your head slightly as he handed you your leftover credits. You shoved them back into your pocket and turned around rather swiftly to see the batter leaning against the wall of the small shop. 

        "Are you done?" He asked, walking back over to the counter where you were standing. Zacharie chuckled and ran his thumb over the top of the money for it to fan out. He put in in a drawer behind the counter after he was done admiring it and put his weight against the counter as well. You laughed at the Batter's impatience.

        "I suppose." You said, tossing the meat you just recieved back and forth between your palms. Batter gave a faint smile and sigh of reilif. He walked rather slowly to the exit of the shop and opened the door. You followed and as you were about to walk out of the doorway, you gave Zacharie a smile and a wave. Batter rolled his eyes and walked out of the doorway, leaving you stumbling. 

        "Not cool." You said, elobwing him in the side when you caught up with him. He rolled his eyes again and adjusted his hat. 

        "You know that merchant is not to be trusted." He said, looking down at you. You looked away and swung your arms back and forth a little.

        "I don't see why not." You questioned. Had he done something bad? He seemed pretty innocent to you... You shrugged it off and kept walking alongside batter, keeping a sharp eye for any specters. 

        "... Just dont get too close to him." Batter stated, taking a glance behind him to the shop they were fairly far away from now. He looked back infront of him and then up at the dark purple sky. Honestly, what was so bad about Zach? You didn't know, but like hell you wanted to.
