I simply couldn't bare another session, I closed my eyes and prayed that Amanda would be here soon.
I was determined to get through this to built a future on my own and eventually taking the kids with me so they'd also have an opportunity in life.
My muscles got tense as I felt his hands wrapped around my throat. Choking - it was one of his favorite technique to show dominance - to make one shut up, beg for life or simply because he liked the view of a person struggling to breath as he has the full control of the happening around him.
I felt my eyes rolling in the back of my head as my sight got foggy and little dots and black parts appeared everywhere I laid my eyes on.
I slowly lost my consciousness as he tightened his grip one more time.
He hissed a few words, barely audible for me and I actually couldn't care less in this moment.
Amanda's P.O.V.
I rushed down the streets back to the Heartbreak Hotel.
My stomach got twisted upside down the nearer I got. I felt so horrible for Valerie and was in awe to save her.
On the other hand I finally wanted to release my anger on Michael, this goal alone made me bold enough to get there.
I'm not the person for revenge or fights like this but I can't see another good way, except this.
I furiously ran towards the entrance, feeling like remotely controlled, my fists already hurt from balling them, digging my nails deeper into my flesh.
"Let me in", I told the muscled guy on the door. He just looked at me like I'm an extraterestrial being from outter space.
Arching a brow at me, he opened his mouth to say something but I immediately cut him off.
"Didn't you hear me, I need to get in there!", I almost shoutet at him.
"Slow down lady", he simply said, opening the chains for me.
I bursted through the door, eying all over the place.
Where do I start?
I didn't yell her name so I looked around at first. So many men were walking around, or sitting at the pole watching curious the half naked woman who rocked her body along the song that was playing, undressing her shaped body, taking the dollar notes that flew on stage.
I stepped towards the bar. "Excuse me, where do I find Valerie?", I asked her with a trembling voice. I pulled my sleeve down whiping my sweaty forehead as the bartender woman with them bleached blonde hair and obviously surgical modified breasts glared at me while shaking her cup, mixing a drink.
"She's at work right now", her long lashes blinked at me, I literally felt the wind she caused with those air wheels.
"I know, that's why I need to see her", I groaned shaking my head.
I stepped closer slamming my palms on the counter, "Where is she?".
She shrugged her shoulders, "Probably over there", she told me, pointing with her long acryl nails at a long aisle that lead to several rooms.
With big steps I got there. Around eight doors, four on each side, all plated with a dark red color, covered in shreds of black silk. Very classy, it could also be an exclusive hotel only for VIP's.
I was about to burst into the first on, but hesitated as I held the doorknob.
Suddenly I heard a muffled scream. It wasn't the only moaning I heard but this sounded different. So forced and full of fear and pain.
I rushed to the door where it came from and opened it.
I belched at the sight of Valerie as she laid there, pinned to the bed, over her shaking self a quite chubby and bald man, helding on dear life as he digged his hands deeper in Valerie's throat.
She slowly turned her head halfway looking at me, her eyes flattered from open to half closed in my direction. She was completely pale and her skirt was smeared with blood.
Michael sat on the king sized chair nex to the bed, resting his arms on his thighs, glaring with hungry eyes at her as he bit his lip.
"I ask you once again...", he was about to yell at Valerie as he suddenly saw me.
"Amanda", his face dropped.
I got furious, ran towards them and punched Michael right into his face.
He backed off, automatically grabbing the side of his face.
"You disgusting son of a bitch", I yelled at him.
"And you, get your fat ass off of her", I turned around glaring at the other man.
He was obviously caught of guard and immediately let go.
I untangled her wrists and ankles, grabbing her and carried her out of the room.
Laying her on the floor as I undressed my jacket, wrapping it around her shaking body.
"I'll get you out of here don't worry", I mumbled, fixing the zipper.
She breathed heavy, having her eyes closed. I know she can hear me, so I continued to whispering good things in her ear.
I dragged her out of the building. "Hey I need an ambulance", I yelled as the muscled guy from the entrance walked up handing he his phone.
I called the ambulance and tried to keep her awake until they arrived.
"Stay awake Valerie, you can do it", I repeated over and over again.
At The Hospital
And here I am again, ordering my second coffee... or was it the third one?... whatever.
I thanked the man on the counter, took it and made my way upstairs on the third floor again, stretching my legs and getting some air while Valerie is still in the emergancy ward.
I sat down on one of the free seats in the waiting area. My eyes were burning and I felt myself getting tired and weak again - hopefully another portion of this strong coffee helps me staying awake for her.
The sun already rose up again. I looked at a clock on the wall, "Six in the morning", I mumbled. Almost 24 hours of not sleeping - oh boy...
I jawned wide, closing my eyes for a second.
