I looked at her, her eyes got even more intense when she cried, the salty tears irritate the inner of her eyes and the color gets so light brown and so dark at the same time.
"Ok, I think that's enough for today, I don't want to stress you out to the limit", I said to her and with this ended therapy for that day.
"I will see you on monday, same time".
"Thank you Ms. Langdon", she kept it short, grabbed her stuff and made her way out.
I needed some time to let that sink in.
Maybe I'm not that professional like I thought I would if things like this affect me that hard.
It was already late afternoon as I walked to my car.
On the way home I stopped by my favorite asian takeaway, grabbing some noddles or good sushi as it's just me, myself and I this evening.I took the cup full of great smelling sushi rolls, satting myself on a free table.
Stuffing the first roll into my mouth, I started staring out of the window.
So many people out there, I wondered.
It made me smile seeing them happy and enjoying the last sunbeams before the evening sets in.
After a while I noticed a girl walking in. It was Valerie.
I turned my head to the counter as she ordered her food.
She looked at my direction as she was about to leave.
"Hey Ms. Langdon", she waved coming near me.
"Hello Valerie", I smiled at her.
"I don't have much time, my.. my shift begins soon", she mumbled looking down to the ground.
I was about to speak as Michael entered the little shop too. My view swept immediately in his direction, I began to smile real heavy.
Valerie noticed my reaction and turned around, facing him.
"Valerie, this is...", I couldn't even finish my sentence as she quickly walked out, disappearing into the colored evening while the sun began to sink.
"Hey darling", Michael grinned from ear to ear.
He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. "I just wanted to grab a quick snack before going to the studio with Martin and Frank".
"Maybe we can have something like a dinner here", I suggested, taking another one out of the bowl, dipping it into the delicious soy dip.
"Sorry Amanda", he mumbled walking towards the counter.
"I have to be on time", he yelled turning his attention to the waiter.
I facepalmed extra hard, starting to ignore him.
I heard him taking a large bag of spring rolls and with this leaving the store.
He didn't even say goodbye to me.
I slammed the door throwing my stuff around like a grumpy little kid that's not getting what it really wanted.
"God damn", I groaned, stumbling upstairs.
Michael's P.O.V.
"Come on Mike", Frank began to pour another round in our glasses.
"Let's have some fun, we worked so hard for all of this".
I grabbed the glass, gulping the shot down at once.
I felt the burning in my throat, tears shot into my eyes as I started coughing.
"Alright guys", I started.
"I know a good place for having great fun".
