“'Bat sakin ka pa nagpahatid 'e may kotse ka naman?” Aki asked while giving me a glance. I just shrugged while eating the burger he was supposed to eat a while ago.

“Tas inagaw mo pa 'yang hamburger ko. Putcha, meron ka ba ngayon?” I stopped chewing at tinignan siya ng masama.

“I'm pissed, okay? I was in the middle of our board meeting kanina nang tawagan ako ni Mama. My phone kept ringing, and it made my clients annoyed” Paliwanag ko.

“Saan nga daw ba ulit 'yang urgent meeting na 'yan? At mukhang urgent na urgent nga”

“CM Corps.”

I saw him look at me, na para bang may naalala siya nung sabihin ko yun. “What?” I asked.

“CM Corps? Isn't that...?”

Nakita ko siyang napailing. “Nevermind” Aniya, I nodded and continued finishing the burger, atleast this makes me happy.

“Thanks, Aki. See you around” Paalam ko sakanya nang maihatid niya ako. “Hoy! Anong see you around ka jan? Ililibre mo pa ko ng hamburger mamaya! Magnanakaw ka!”

I just chuckled bago tumango at isinara ang pinto ng kotse niya. Kaya ko namang magpunta dito ng mag-isa, I just wanted to see that asshole's face dahil kakauwi lang niya galing US.

“Welcome to CM Corporations! Good morning, Ms...?” I gave her a look the moment she greeted me. She just gave me a smile while waiting for me to say my name. I raised my brow while still giving her the look.

“I'm Sky Loretta from LorettaAce Management” Nakita ko namang nanlaki ang mga mata niya ng magpakilala ako. I secretly rolled my eyes.

“I–I'm sorry, Ms. Loretta! I–I apologize for not knowing the CEO of LorettaAce” She said while bowing to me. Pinagtitinginan na kami ng mga ilang employees na pumapasok. I awkwardly gave her a fake smile.

“It's fine. I was addressed for an urgent meeting. Can I go now?” Dali-dali siyang tumango and I instantly walked my way to the elevator papunta sa 16th floor.

I was consciously pissed dahil nasa board meeting ako kanina nang tinawagan ako ni Mama. She said na kailangan kong pumunta dito sa CM Corps. because of an important meeting and contract signing. Gaano ba ka-importante ang meeting na 'to para lang i-excuse ko ang sarili ko sa board meeting kanina?

I didn't even know what's my purpose here, I am doing well managing the company. Ni hindi na nga kami nakakapag-hangout nila Astrid. I was too busy being the CEO of my family's company.

“16th floor, Ms. Loretta” I smiled at the elevator lady and walked out. Hinahanap kong yung board room kung saan nandoon sila Mama, but since this building is so huge. I managed to get lost.

I saw employees looking at me walking and passing their desks. Dahil gusto ko na 'ring umalis at matapos na ang urgent meeting na 'to.

May lumapit naman sa akin na empleyado and he pointed the black door at the end of the hallway, near the elevator. I gave him a smile and said thank you bago maglakad papunta doon sa office.

I opened the door silently. What? There was no one here. And hindi 'to mukhang board room, it looks like someone's office. My feet roamed around in its own, I was looking at every details of the office.

Very intricate and simple. I slowly walked to the desk, noticing some piles of paperworks. But then something immediately catched my attention.

I blinked my eyes again, making sure na hindi ako nagkamali ng nakita o nabasang pangalan. What the freaking hell?

I stood there, frozen. Hindi ako makapaniwala. After all those years, hindi ko na mabilang kung ilang taon na ang nakalipas nang huli ko siyang nakita. And then suddenly here I am standing inside the office of the man who seriously made my life a complete rollercoaster ride.

Muntik na kong mapatalon nang marinig kong bumukas yung pinto. I looked back and my eyes immediately widening seeing those same pair of dark brown eyes. Piercing through my soul. It's still the same cold and intense stare.

Ilang minuto rin akong nakatitig sa kanya, he does the same thing to me. We were staring at each other for five minutes, I was starting to get tingles. Nakararamdam din ako ng galit at sakit, and damn it makes me want to punch him in the face.

But then I saw him smirked.

“Long time no see, Sky”
