The last days of being a junior highschool student was filled with mixed emotions. Kumain kami sa labas, nanonood sa cinema, and went to Enchanted Kingdom. We hang out at the resto almost everyday.

And walking up the stage, receiving my diploma felt ecstatic. Dad was so proud he cried, he was so proud. And it all felt surreal.

I didn't imagine my friends crying at our graduation day. But they did. We all cried, we hugged each other, we didn't let go on each other's embrace. After so many years with them, we needed to part ways. That was most hardest part.

New school, new environment, new friends. I was still not used to it. After a few months of preparing noong bakasyon. I was still not ready. I am really growing up. There's no way back.

And here I am, in Manesca Heir University. First day of school was last week.

The others were enrolled on different universities. Magkaklase sila Aki, Lor, at Jo sa MA. Habang sila Esme, Diego, Jed, and Kio were at SGU.

But we managed to adjust, dahil tuwing weekends naman ay nagkikita-kita kami o kapag free time.

"How's life in HUMSS?" Tanong ni Caden. I looked at him bago mag-isip. Ever since that day at the prom, naging maayos na ang pakikisama sakin ni Caden. He just casually talks to me, and sometimes annoy me. I could say we're friends now.

"Ayos lang, creative writing is fun" Sagot ko. He nodded.

"Sana all HUMSS. 'Bat ba kasi nasa ABM tayo, A?" Reklamo ni Seji.

"Ewan ko sayo. 'Yon 'yung pinili mong strand 'e!"

Seji snorted bago magkibit balikat. "No way!

We all went out sa labas ng school dahil may mga booths doon, from all different clubs. And I couldn't wait to see all of it!

"Manesca Chronicles?"

I looked at the first booth. Binasa ko iyong nakasulat sa labas. They're in need of new journalists and photographers sa team nila. The quote at the side of the booth was very interesting it caught my attention.

'WHAT WOULD YOU WRITE IF YOU WEREN'T AFRAID?'

"You want to join?" I was thinking about it. I really love to write and I can also take pictures. And this is one of the most active clubs sa campus. This was a great opportunity.

"Tignan muna natin 'yung iba. There's still alot of booths" Saad ni Seji saka ako hinawakan sa braso.

But we can only join two clubs.

We also joined the school's shs youth organization.
