Casey POV

I fly through the air, everything around me is a blur. I pass by a blindingly bright light, and guess that it is the helicopter search light. I streak past it and zoom into the other building. Once I come to a complete stop, I am helped out of the harness by Minho and Teresa. I step down onto the ground, and watch through the broken window as Newt comes flying towards me. Once he is stopped and free from the harness, I look behind him to see if Thomas is almost here, but I don't see him at all.

I look back at Newt with a worried expression on my face. "Thomas is coming with us, right?" I ask him. Newt nods, frowning slightly as he makes his way back over to the window. "Where is he?" He asks, in more of a rhetorical way. "Everyone here?" A voice behind us asks. We turn around to see Jorge walking up to us. "Thomas and Brenda are not here yet." Newt says. Jorge's expression turns worried. He thinks for a moment, then says. "I know where we can hide while we wait for them." He starts back the way he came. Newt, Minho, Teresa, Frypan, and I follow him.

"Why are you helping us?" Newt asks. "It's much better for Brenda and I if we find the Right Arm with you." Jorge answers. "The Right Arm?" I question. "The people in the mountains." He elaborates. "I thought you said they were ghosts." Newt states. "Well, I happen to believe in ghosts." Jorge says, smiling a little.

We make it to a living room with dusty couches and a few tables. We are told to wait here, as Jorge disappears again, probably going to look for Thomas and Brenda. I look over at Newt, who is sitting alone on a table in the back of the room. I walk closer to him, and notice he looks worried, as he stares down at the knife in his hand.

I sit next to him on the table. "Are you okay?" I ask. Newt sighs. "I'm worried about Thomas. What if Wicked got him?" "I don't think they did. Maybe something went wrong and they needed to find another way out." I suggest, trying to make him feel better. Newt doesn't say anything, he just nods. A moment passes, then he says. "How's your wound doing?" It's been a while since I felt pain from it, so that's a good sign. "Good." I answer, pulling my shirt up a little, to reveal the hole that is slowly patching itself up. Newt smiles at me. "Everything we be okay." I say, giving him a reassuring smile. He moves closer to me, wrapping his arm around my waist. I lean into him, and rest my head on his shoulder. I close my eyes, and let the warmth of him surround me.
