Newt POV
"Crank!" The man shouts, pulling out a gun and aiming it at Brenda, who was still laying on the ground and gasped harshly. "No! Don't shoot!" Jorge yells, stepping in front of Brenda. Thomas steps forward too. "Isn't there anything you can do for her?" He asks desperately. The man pauses for a minute, still glaring down at her. "Yes, there is. I can put her out of her misery." He positions the gun so that it will miss Jorge but still hit Brenda.
"Vince." A voice says behind the man. A dark haired woman comes up behind him. "There's nothing we can do for her, but you can." She looks directly at Thomas, who looks hopelessly lost. "Hello Thomas." He looks even more confused. "How do you know my name?" He asks. "We knew each other before the maze." The women says, a little sadly. "Come with me, and bring the girl." Jorge picks up Brenda, who is now unconscious, or at least on the edge of it. The three of them follow the woman deeper into the camp, and disappear into a tent.

The sky is slowly fading to a dark blue as I climb up a hill with Casey beside me. We checked on Thomas and Brenda in the medical tent, then decided to come up here where the rest of our friends are.
I find a spot beside Minho, and Casey sits beside me, close to the edge of the hill. It makes me slightly nervous with how close she is to the edge, knowing her past history with edges and sheer drop offs. I know it's stupid to worry about this but I can't help it, I've just gradually became more aware of her and her safety. I always want to protect her, and that's what I'm going to do. I will never ever let anyone hurt her.
A little while later, Thomas makes his way up the hill, joining the rest of us, with the exception of Aris and Teresa. He sits down beside and slightly in front of me, since there is no room directly beside me. "I wish Alby could see this place." Frypan says suddenly. "And Winston." Minho added. "And Chuck." Thomas finishes, looking sad. "We met some other people too though, like Aris." I point out, trying to be reassuring. "Yeah, I still don't trust him though." Frypan says, looking down at the camp. I spot Aris talking with Sonya, both seemingly happy.
"Where's Teresa?" Thomas asks, looking around the camp. "Up there." Minho says, nodding up to a cliff side. On the edge of the cliff stands the lone figure of Teresa, staring off into the sky.
Thomas gets up and makes his way over to her. "He's always running after her. If it came down to us or her, which would he choose?" I look at Casey, suddenly feeling a little hypocritical. "If it came down to my friends or Casey, who would I choose?" I know that I should instantly think my friends, but Casey means so much to me, and it would destroy me if I ever lost her.
I watch the sky slowly darken, and start to wonder if we should go sleep. Which leads to the train of thought of contemplating inviting Casey to sleep with me. I am mentally trying to construct the least dirty sounding way of saying it. Of course, by sleeping with her I mean sleeping in the same bed so neither of us have to be alone. For some reason, the thought of the other type of sleeping with her makes me feel nervous and awkward.
When I finally find the right thing to say, I am about to open my mouth to speak, when we all hear the sound of helicopter wings coming towards us. I barely have time to lift my head and register what is going on, before the first explosion is sent down upon the camp.
