Cody POV

I wake up and check the time on the clock on my nightstand. It's just after three am. I groan as I realise I need the bathroom. I sit up and throw the covers back before walking through to the bathroom.
I walk back through to my bedroom and watch my girlfriend stir slightly in her sleep. I lean over and kiss the scar on her eyebrow. I lay back down beside her. I watch as she stirs more in her sleep.
Suddenly she sits up, panting and sweating profusely. Then she starts sobbing.
"Hey, it's ok." I tell her, pulling her into my chest and running my hands through her dark curly hair. "What happened?" I ask once she'd calmed down.
"They were hurting me." She whispers.
"Who was?" I stop running my hand through her hair and just let it rest on her head.
"I don't know. They'd killed you and were hurting me." She cries burying her head into my chest.
"Hey, it's ok. I'm here and you're ok. It was just a dream." I assure her, kissing her head.
"I love you Cody." She whispers.
"I love you too Rosie."
