Lauren rushed inside to greet her mama after a long night away. Sure, Dinah was fun, but she loved her family. "Mama!" Camila giggled as Lauren rushed through the door hugging her legs and a tired Dinah behind her. "So, you ready to be a mom?" Camila joker. Dinah shook her head, "I thought I could handle it after my siblings, but Lauren is a wild child." Camila laughed, "She is." Dinah waited for Lauren to go to her room to put her things away—knowing it would be a minute because Lauren tends to be tidy. "So, Ariana okay?" Camila sighed, "very shaken up. She started having horrible anxiety and a nightmare. It also made press this week." Dinah shook her head, "she is such a good person. It was self defense right?" Camila vigorously nodded.

"I am worried because I was planning on officially adopting Lauren. I wanted to ask Ari to be a co-parent. I see us being together forever, you know?" Camila admitted as she ran her hands through her hair, "I love her." Dinah gasped, "Camila, you're making the comeback of the century!" Camila shook her head, "Not the point, Dinah. I feel like my family is in danger." Dinah nodded, "I understand, Waltz. I believe you guys will be okay. Talk to Demi, okay?" Camila sighed pulling her friend into a hug, "I'll call if I need you."

Dinah left while Lauren returned. "Where is Mommy?" Camila sighed, "she had to take care of a case at work, baby." Lauren sighed in return, "I miss her." Camila smiled, "well, I missed you!" Camila scooped up Lauren making a fit of giggles erupt the room. Camila planted kisses on the side of Lauren's face. "Mama, stop it!" Camila dropped Lauren on the couch safely. Lauren caught her breath from laughing fairly quickly. "Can we make mommy cookies for when she gets back?" Camila pondered, "I believe she would love that." Lauren jumped off the couch running to the kitchen. "Lauren Michelle, you know you're not supposed to jump off furniture!" "Yes, Mama," a quite response from the girl.

"So, I was thinking that we could make our family even more official." Lauren's eyebrows furrowed together, "what?" Camila smiled at her cuteness, "well, we could officially make you a Cabello. So, no one can take you from me and I would be your official protector." Lauren's jaw dropped, "what about mommy?" Camila nodded, "her too. Soon though." Lauren smiled, "that sounds perfect, mama!" Lauren jumped from her stool to wrap her arms around Camila's neck.

Ariana came in looking absolutely exhausted. Lauren excitedly ran towards her before Camila could stop her. Camila braced for a miscommunication of stress however Ariana took a deep breath. "Hey, kiddo! I missed you," Ariana said in her nicest tone not to worry the smaller girl. "Mommy! We made you cookies!" Ariana smiled at her new title, "oh, really?" Lauren nodded hugging Ariana more, "I missed you sooooo much!" The older woman laughed, "I missed you, Laur."

Ariana followed Lauren to the kitchen. Camila close behind. She watched in awe of how they interacted with each other. Camila knew this was the right choice. This is her family. Camila joined her girls as Lauren gave Ariana a cookie beaming at her hard work. "They're your favorite, babe," Camila said kissing Ariana's cheek. "So, thoughtful."

Ariana felt a bit better about their situation especially after she was officially cleared at work. She felt guilty for the family, but they also understood after watching the tape. She apologized profusely and her statement in the public eye received positive feedback.

"I am taking a few days off work," Ariana announced, "just to clear my head." Camila nodded, "we should do something fun!" Lauren's eyes went wide, "beach?!" Ariana laughed, "what if we just watched movies and relaxed?" Lauren huffed, "that's okay. I guess."  Ariana acted offended as she started to inch closer to Lauren, "I heard sass I believe. Only the...tickle monster can take care of this!" Lauren tried to run but Ariana picked her up in a swift motion. Lauren laughed pleading for mercy. "Mama, help!" Ariana glanced at Camila and smirked.

Camila snapped a few photos before coming to her baby's rescue. She needed this to be her forever.
