Camila anxiously waited outside the restaurant; it had been ages since she had been on a date. When she was asked, she wasn't sure what even to say. Camila knew what she liked, but she had been used to one person for so long. How do you even act on a date? Camila's heart raced once Ariana stepped into her view. "Hey! Wow, you look stunning!" Ariana exclaimed beaming approaching Camila. Camila nodded her head words failing her as she looked down. "Don't go silent on me!" Ariana joked. "Lets go inside." Camila smiled hitting herself for not responding. Ariana's tight black dress suited her so well. Camila took note on how fit Ariana actually was.
"This is one of my favorite places," Ariana said starting the conversation as they sat. Camila smiled, "so you take women here often?" Ariana shook her head, "Only the ones I would like a second date with." Camila laughed, "Wow, I am so honored." The waiter set down their drinks before taking orders. Ariana ordered for Camila making her feel giddy. "You know how to treat a woman huh?"
"Of course. So, you're a teacher right?" Ariana asked sipping her water. Camila nodded, "yes. I love my job so much. It definitely filled a void I couldn't for such a long time." Ariana furrowed her eyebrows together, "void?" Camila nodded, "Well, you know of my ex-husband-"
"Talking about me?" Camila turned in her chair to see Shawn standing with another woman. Ariana sensed Camila's discomfort, "yes, I know of Shawn, babe. Why wouldn't I? We don't keep secrets." Camila smiled slightly, "uh, Shawn meet my-."
"Girlfriend," Ariana stood to shake his hand. "Thanks for letting the best thing to happen to me go. We have had the best few months of our lives practically." Camila wished she could have taken a picture of his face. Shawn glanced at Camila, "So, you like girls?" Camila nodded, "obviously." Shawn nodded, "uh, I am happy for you honestly." Camila nodded, "thanks."
The woman tapped his shoulder slightly. "Oh- right! This is , uh, my girlfriend, Kelsey." Camila's heart dropped. His relationship was real. Ariana motioned for Camila, "Let's get out of here. Nice meeting you two." Camila quickly followed Ariana out to her car.
"Are you okay?"
"He's already moved on." Camila spoke. Ariana smiled, "you have too." Ariana moved Camila's chin so she was facing her their faces were inches a part. "Don't worry about Shawn, alright? Move at your own pace." Ariana left Camila wanting more. "I know your hungry so how about a movie at my place and some pizza?" Camila's anxiety washed away, "Sounds great.
