Sierras pov

The school dance came sooner than I expected. It was literally the talk of the school for the whole week. Every girl would brag about their dates or what there are wearing and as usual the boys didn't really care. Except the dance wasn't something that was on my mind. Aaron was. We still haven't talked about the kiss. In fact we are acting as if nothing happened and I don't know why. Maybe in the time period that we weren't dating I became a bad kisser and he didn't want to hurt my feelings or maybe it was just a mistake.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when my mom opened the door. "I wanted check up on you and see how your makeup is- Sierra why are you laying in bed?! You have to get ready for the dance" she said and walked over to my bed with a stern look on her face. The dance started at 7pm and it was now half five. I know for a fact Veronica and Steph have started hours ago.

"Ok yeah I'm getting ready now" I sighed and walked over to my vanity. My mom walked over to the door but turned around and smiled at me.

"I can't wait to see you and Aaron together, especially him in a suit" she winked. My eyes widened and then I turned back to my mirror. My mom doesn't know that Someone else is taking me and that we have broken up a month ago. I quickly grabbed my phone and texted Zach to not park close to my house that way I could avoid problems. He texted back instantly saying it was fine.

I turned back to mirror and got ready. I started with my makeup. I did a smokey eye look Which took me longer than I anticipated.

I then moved on to my hair and I decided to just leave my brown hair naturally straight. By now it was half six and I seriously had to get a move on. I held up the dress the girls picked out for me a week ago and slipped it on. It looked even better now that I had makeup on.

I stood in front of mirror and observed myself. I threw on a pair of black heels and grabbed the silver Clutch my mom lent me for the night. Just as I was about to sit down on my bed I heard my doorbell ring. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and I walked over to my window to see who it was. My eyes nearly fell out of my eye sockets when I saw Zach's car and most importantly when I saw he wasn't in there.
