At Jitters, Barry was sitting at a table with a cup of coffee, Oliver and Felicity walked in and noticed that Barry was staring at a girl. Mitch followed them in the coffee shop, went and got him a coffee and talked with Eddie for a little bit. Iris started to walk over to Oliver and Felicity. "Hey!" Iris greeted with a big smile. "You guys heading home?"
"Yeah, we could use some Javas for the road." Felicity told her.
"I will hook you up." Iris said. Mitch walked over to Barry to join him and Oliver. Felicity walked over to Iris to get their coffee. Mitch took a seat and Oliver sat across Barry
"Uhm, so listen..." Barry said to both of them. "I'm really sorry, both of you, for what I said in the field and at the Precinct and then last night in the street." Barry tried to explain. "I wish I could say it was all because of whatever Bivolo did to me, but I guess I had more feelings bottled up than I thought."
"You can always talk to me." Oliver told Barry.
"Yeah. Thank you." Barry said. "And you both were right, I still have... A lot to learn."
"There one more thing that I'm going to teach you..." Oliver said then turned his head to look at Iris and Felicity. "And you're not going to like it."
"Does it involve you shooting me in the back?" Barry laughed.
"No. No, the heart." Oliver whispered. Then he turned his head again at Felicity and Iris. "That's not going to work out for you. You need to let her go, for both of your sakes."
"I agree with Oliver on this one girls with guys like us don't last, they either end up dead or in danger." Mitch said.
"Guys like us don't get the girl." Oliver admitted to Barry.
Barry looked at both Oliver adn Mitch. Felicity walked over to Oliver, Barry, and Mitch with her's and Oliver's Javas. "You ready?" Felicity asked giving Oliver his coffee.
Oliver hummed a yes and picked up the coffee and walked with her out until someone called his name. "Oliver." It was a woman with brunette hair, long, straight, and thick. She was fit. She was short compared to Oliver. Her eyes with borwn and big. "Hi." she said.
"Hi." Oliver said back, feeling awkward. "How are you?" She asked.
"Good, good." she said with a slight smile. "It's been a long time."
"We never spoke after, and I'm so sorry." he said feeling awful.
"No, I'm sorry." she said. "I heard about your mother..." she paused. "She loved you very much."
"She did." Oliver nodded his head.
"I should get going." she said.
"All right." Oliver said letting her pass by.
Felicity was by Oliver's side. "Who was that?"
"Someone that I used to know." Oliver said staring at her.Later that night, Iris went to the rooftop of Jitters to meet with the Flash. "Got your message." she said to him not happy at all.
"I wanted you to know, last night..." he tried to explain. "That wasn't me."
"Sure looked like you."
"Yeah." The Flash didn't know exactly how to say what he wanted to say. "I was affected by one of the meta-humans. He messed with my head. But I'm okay now, I promise."
"I defended you." Iris said with anger. "Everyone told me that you would bring me nothing but danger. My father, Barry, Eddie... I didn't listen to them. I never listened to them. But now it's time I did. Don't contact me anymore, okay?" Iris told him.
"Iris..." The Flash called out to him. "I'm sorry."
"Me too." Iris said back. Iris closed the door leaving The Flash up on the rooftop. The Flash left the building.Barry ran to a bar, even though he knew that he couldn't get drunk because of his metabolism. When he entered the bar he found Mitch Rapp sitting at the bar with a shot of bourbon and holding a small picture of what looked to be himself with a woman. Barry walked over to join him. "Who's that?" Barry asked him when he popped a squat next to him.
Mitch whipped his head to find Barry next to him. "No one, why don't you tell me why your dad should be out of prison." Mitch looked at him.
"He has been in Iron Heights for murder which he did not do."
"How do you know?" he asked.
"Because I witnessed it." Barry said. "I was eleven when my mother was murder by a speedster like me, and my father got arrested for a crime he didn't commit."
"The system is broken, that's why there should be more of us out in the world." Mitch told him.
Barry and Mitch sat and drank their drinks hung out for the night.
