Mitch Rapp's Side:

"Kennedy is ready for you now, Mr. Kruse." Irene Kennedy's secretary called out to Mitch Rapp sitting in a chair outside her office. Mitch got up from his seat and made his way to the door and entered his boss's office.
"You needed to see me?" Rapp asked as he raised his eyebrows at her.
"Yes, shut the door." Kennedy whispered. Rapp quickly stepped inside and gently closed the door behind him. "I got word that there has been odd things going on here and I want you to do a little bit of recon, and report back here and the next steps will be provided when you get their. You are going alone and the chief of detectives knows that you will be coming in."
"What's my ID?" Mitch asked as he opened the file that Irene handed off to him. He flipped through the pages as he was waiting for his orders given to him by the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
"You will be going as a transferred homicide out of Washington D.C., and the rest of your alias is here." Irene said as she handed off another file to Mitch.
Mitch grabbed the file and flipped through it. "Um, Irene," Mitch started sounding confused. "I don't have a cover ID."
"Well, me and Stansfield talked it over and considered that after what you did and with the media pretty much knowing what you did for the President and the staff and other citizens in the White House, we considered the fact that someone was going to know who you are but they won't know what you do and that is where your the homicide detective part comes in." Irene informed him.
"Great, maybe this town won't know exactly what happened in D.C.." Mitch sounded sarcastic and doubtful.
"You will be leaving in an one hour." Irene said as she toke a seat at her desk. "I want you calling at least every night if not then twice a day."
"Yes, ma'am." he stated as he left the office. Mitch turned and left out of Kennedy's office to get ready to leave for Central City.

In Central City, the next day Barry was racing through the city racing to get to a crime scene. After Joe called him saying that there is a double homicide and 5th and Main Street (Author's note real quick I do not know the exact words and street names in Central City, so if you are a hardcore Flash fan like me and know all of the street names in Central City, feel free to let me know.).
Once Barry finally arrived Joe and Eddie were processing the scene. There was a robbery at the Central City National Bank. Joe greeted Barry at the entrance. "Witnesses reported seeing a red streak?" Joe gesturing that Barry knew what happened in the bank.
"Joe, you should have seen it. It was like everybody in here was trying to kill each other. I got here just in time." Barry informed him quietly so no one could hear them.
"Well, it must've been a diversion, because there's 1/2million bucks missing from the vault we're trying to find the signal," Joe conversed with Barry. "Meantime, any idea what could've caused such a mass..." Joe started to mumbled this because he wasn't sure what to call this.
Barry was looking around trying to think of an explanation. "A neurotoxin, maybe, but I'm going to swab some surfaces, to see what I can find, but I think maybe they got whammied." Barry thought of off of the top of his head.
Joe looked at at him and while he was pointing out that Barry mentioned the word "whammied" his phone started to ring in his jacket pocket. "We're needed at CCPD, Sighn wants to speak with us."
Barry and Joe finished processing the crime scene and when they were done Barry and Joe rushed over to CCPD to meet up with Captain Sighn.
