Reyna

I was woken up by a shrill bell.
I sat up in my bed, looking around, at first slightly confused where I was.

Remembering where I was, and why I was there, I got up, slightly disoriented from the sound of the bell, and got ready for the day.

As I was putting my shoes on, Hazel came through the door already dressed, and holding her toothbrush and a small pouch.
"Hello Reyna"

" 'Morning Hazel" I said.

"Did you try to call Frank?" I asked, gesturing to the pouch. It was a pouch all of us had gotten. It was full of drachmas for Iris-messaging.

Hazel nodded. "It was too busy though"

"Maybe call him tonight," I said. "When it hopefully wont be so busy in there"

We met up with Annabeth, Piper and Thalia outside of room 15, and the five of us went down to the dining hall.

We spotted Scarlet and Ivy at the back of the line, and we joined them.

"What 'delicious' food is for breakfast?" Thalia asked.

"Porridge" said Scarlet, slightly more upbeat than I would expect. "Lumpy porridge. Sometimes with honey"

"Yummers" said Thalia sarcastically.

Ivy sported Thalia's silver bracelet on her wrist.
"You aren't really meant to wear jewellery at Rookwood" she said, gesturing towards the bracelet.

Thalia shrugged. "I'll take it off before first class"

When we finally got our lumpy porridge, we sat down at the table.

I was surprised to see Scarlet gulping down her porridge like she hadn't eaten in weeks. From what I knew, Scarlet pretty much hated the food here.

As I watched Scarlet, confused Ariadne arrived and sat down next to Ivy, wearing a slightly puzzled look.

"How was Violet?" Asked Ivy.

Ariadne shrugged.
"I honestly don't know. It was like she wasn't even there. I kept trying to talk to her, I really did, but she didn't say anything. I just went to sleep in the end"

"That's Strange." said Ivy. "I missed having you in room 13"
Scarlet frowned at Ivy.

"If only we could all stay together. If I had a genie or something, I'd wish for it."

"Don't waste your wishes" said Ivy. "You could wish to not go to Rookwood"

"Or for a million pounds" said Scarlet. "No one could tell us what to do if we had a million pounds"

"Mr. Bartholomew probably could" said Hazel.

That morning we had assembly. It wasn't bad. We listened to the matron give us a lecture of keeping our dorms clean and sang Hymns and other things.

Scarlet and Ivy got a letter from their aunt, and they stayed behind after the assembly to read it. So Piper, Annabeth, Thalia, Hazel and I followed Ariadne to our first class, Latin.

Latin was easy enough. We just had to copy the verbs that Miss Simons had written on the board.
I kept mentally translating the words. I didn't say them out loud though. That might blow our cover, and that was the last thing we needed.

Scarlet and Ivy joined us for history.
By the time they came, Annabeth, Hazel, Thalia, Piper and I had already been appointed seats by the history teacher, Madame Lovelace.

As Scarlet looked around the room, her eyes widened slightly. She looked a little horrified.

When Madame Lovelace asked which one of the 2 was Ivy, Scarlet quickly said "I am"

Ivy looked as confused as I felt.

As Madame Lovelace talked to the twins, I looked around the room trying to figure out what Scarlet had been so horrified at.

I spotted the empty desk right next to Violet. That explained a lot.

For the rest of the day, Annabeth, Thalia, Hazel, Piper and I followed Ariadne and Ivy to our classes.

The teachers continued to treat Ivy like she was new, and also treated us
(A/N 'us' referring to the Demigods) like we were new as well.

That afternoon, it was our First sports lesson.

Hazel and I changed into riding gear, and using the maps Mr. Bartholomew gave us, made our way to the stables, where a teacher wearing a tall hat, and some of the other horse riding girls were waiting.

When the tall hat wearing teacher saw Hazel and I, she introduced herself as Miss Linton. She explained that she was the Horse riding instructor at Rookwood.

When all of us had arrived, Miss  Linton got us to stand in front of her. She showed us how to grip the reigns while we were standing.

When she was happy with how we all looked, she told us to choose our horse, and mount it, giving a demonstration on one of the horses.

I walked around the stables for a little bit, looking at all the horses. I eventually picked a horse with a white coat and mane that was called Luna, (which is Latin for moon).

Once we'd all mounted our horses, and Miss Linton has checked that the horse fit us, she went through a few basic safety things, and we practiced getting the horse to walk, turn and to stop and guiding the horse with the reigns and our legs to direct the horse.

Getting Luna to walk and stop wasn't a challenge. She did both of those things with ease, and it was easy controlling her.

Getting her to turn on the other hand, was a little more challenging. Whenever I tried to get her to turn in any direction she'd stop dead in her tracks, and look around, confused.

But eventually, I got her to turn.
