Chapter 11

"What are you talking about?"
He just looked calm.

I wonder if he could still act like this if he'll see his love one with another man?

"Wag kang pumasok doon. I think I'm not in the right position to tell you things" sabi ko umiwas ng tingin sakanya.

Halatang naguguluhan sya.

"What again?" humalukipkip na sya. Agad naman akong dumistansya dahil napansin kong malapit kami sa isa't isa.

Sasabihin ko ba sakanya?
I sighed.

"Hindi lang ikaw ang mahal ni Cathy" mariin akong pumikit. Sht Lianne! Bakit mo sinabi!

I was waiting for his reaction and I immediately looked at him when he plastered a smile and laughed. He also looks amused.

"Cathy w-what? You're joking right?" Napaayos sya ng upo at humarap sa akin.

"No! Nagsasabi ako ng totoo. Hindi lang ikaw ang mahal nya" I convinced him.

"Kung hindi lang ako, then why'd you care so much?"

He bit his lips trying to hide his smile.

Namilog naman ang aking mga mata and my face heated. Agad naman akong nataranta.

"Ah eh ka-si sy-syempre ano, mali yun d-diba. K-kayo, ta-tapos sila diba" I looked away as I calm myself. 

What's happening to me?! Shoot.

"Oh concern ka?" he looks serious now.

"Hindi noh! I m-mean oo kasi diba p-parang friends na t-tayo tapos ganun!" I stuttered as I moved a little bit from him.

"Oh I see" he remained relax. I heard him chuckled.

What the? Ganun lang yun?

"I don't want us to be friends"

Bigla akong napatingin sakanya. He pursed his lips at nagtama ang aming mga mata and my heart almost jumped out. Ramdam ko ang init sa aking mukha.

I stared at him, ayaw nya ng friends? Our sights became more deeper and I can almost feel and see his seriousness in his dark brown eyes. Then I suddenly realize when he slowly went closer trying to close our distance. I could literally feel his breath and I froze as I could hear how my heart beats so fast.

"Oh andyan kalang pala! Tara na! Una na tayo- ay oops sorry! Istorbo bako?"

Napatingin ako bigla sa nagsalita and I saw Chleo. Agad naman akong napatayo mula sa bench at pumunta sakanya. Ngumiti sya ng nakakaloko.

"Oo sige tara na, bye Rei. Alis na kami" I told him without looking at him. Ramdam ko parin ang kabog ng aking dibdib at init ng aking pisngi.

Agad naman syang tumayo. Hinawakan ko naman sa braso si Chleo.

He nodded.

"Thank you, bayad kana." he smiled and walked away.

I can't even get what he was saying. Telling me that he doesn't  wanna be friends with me, is like a big slap to my face. I mean, what does that mean?

Pero bakit? Doesn't he care about his girl? Pero why would he be with Cathy and acting like they're together? And why would Cathy be with other man if he's with Rei already? It really bothers me. My heart hurts.

I shook my head. This doesn't matter to me, why do I keep on thinking about them? I must make an action for my plans now.

"Hay nako Lianne, tapusin monayan ng maihatid na kita don sa pupuntahan mo"
Si Chleo habang pinapanood akong magtype sa laptop ko.
