I feel like my chapters have been quite short so I made this one a bit longer. It's like slightly over 2000 words compared to my usual 1000 words.

Thalia POV

Since the war ended we had a huge increase of girls joining the hunt and had nearly 70 people altogether. Although this number still didn't rival camp halfbloods now-massive number of 400 campers.

It was obvious the gods had more spare time on their hands and decided to spend it in the mortal realm.

Classic male gods. And I suppose a few female ones too.

I and the rest of the hunt sat at Artemis' table in the pavilion for breakfast. Well about 30 of us were able to sit at the table, the rest didn't fit and were scattered around the table sitting crossed-legged on the floor.

I'd have to talk to Chiron about getting another picnic table for us.

I scanned the area for a certain raven-haired god only to see he wasn't around, it wasn't like him to miss food. Unless he was asleep of course, then it would be like him.

I needed to talk to him about a proposition for capture the flag later tonight but I guess it could wait.

As everyone was starting to drift out of the pavilion in small groups I noticed the person I was looking for standing watching grumpily as breakfast ended.

I excused myself and walked over to the Percy to the distaste of the other hunters.

They would get over it. Besides Lady Artemis didn't hate Percy. In fact, it seemed she might actually even like the boy.

"Kelp head!" I called to the god.

"Pinecone face, what's up?"

"Nothing much, why do you look so grumpy?" I smirked.

"Missed breakfast," he grumbled.

"Sleep in?" I continued to question.

He shifted uncomfortably before answering, "Yeah something like that."

I decided not to ask anything else.

"I have a proposition for capture the flag, a request from Lady Artemis,"

Percy smiled upon hearing news of his favourite game and pastime and then frowned remembering that he couldn't play anymore because he was a god. "Why are you telling me, I can't play anyways?"

I grinned, "Well that's what the proposition is for, you can on the camp's side."

"But it wouldn't be fair."

I snickered, "Like your a threat."

His eyes narrowed and I could see his competitive spirit kicking in. "Oh please pine cone face, I could beat you as a demigod with my hand tied behind my back."

I shook my head, "As if.... but yes I understand that it wouldn't be exactly the most fair game if you were on one side so I have someone to balance it out. Lady Artemis wants to play. But of course, I understand if your not up to the challenge." I said knowing he would agree to it.

He beamed, "Challenge accepted." Then leant forward and hugged me.

Percy looked over at the hunters angry faces and then back at my laughing one. "I'm getting my balls chopped off, aren't I."

"Likely," I said with a laugh.

He turned back to the hunters and gave them the thumbs up and a big grin before sprinting off.
