To the four people that view this, 😎I'm really sorry for the late update.
Third-person
A woman sat sprawled across a throne made of obsidian. She was astonishingly beautiful. Her eyes were a bright almost blinding white and contrasted greatly from the complete darkness around her. Her dress was black and was fitted tightly to her skin and was cropped at the knees, however, the dress was cut to show the smooth ivory skin on her back and probably also to make room for the large, dark, feathery wings that were sprouted from there.
She sat up straight, leaning her back against her wings, as a loud pounding came from the large double doors ahead of her. "Come in," she spoke, loud enough that the person behind the doors could hear her.
The man who had now entered the throne room also was dressed in darker tones, with a black shirt and trousers and a dark navy blazer. His hair was gelled back and it was obvious that he was handsome even in the dark room. The man's eyes, unlike the ladies, were pitch black and if you looked closer it looked as if they were swirling.
"Babee, how are you," the man said to the woman who was once 40ft but had since shrunk to about 12ft to match his height.
She scowled, "It's Lady Nyx to you, Erebos, and I'm a lot worse since you've come in actually."
Erebos chuckled, "So your husband can't call you babe then?"
"Your not my husband anymore Erebos," Nyx said furiously.
"Ex them," he smirked.
"Mistake more like," she replied under her breath.
Erebos laughed and went to place his hand under Nyx's chin only for it to be slapped away
"Is this all you came to do, to what, try to seduce me??" Nyx spat.
He rolled his eyes, "Although it would definitely be a bonus. I actually came to make a little arrangement, an offer if you please."
Nyx's eyes narrowed, "What kind of offer?"
"How long have you been in this pit, Nyx?"
"Too long," she grumbled.
"Exactly," Erebos continued, "And like you I am fed up with hiding from those dumbass gods. Me and you, ba- I mean- Nyx. We could crush them easily, and just think, if we got the other primordials, who would be likely willing to help, we could make them fade without lifting a finger. It would be so easy."
Nyx looked uneasy, " I dunno Erebos... I really can't be bothered with a full-fledged war at the moment. Besides... some of them who would fight for Olympus, really aren't that bad."
Erebos raised an eyebrow. Then a grin spread across his face. "Is there a certain god you have in mind, missy?"
"Missy?" She complained, "and no of course not that's completely ridiculous!"
Erebos' grin got bigger, "A demigod isn't it."
Nyx scoffed but she could feel her face getting hot and her cheeks were golden from her ichor. "Shut up Erebos."
Nyx POV:
Demigods. I had an idea but it required one. One demigod in particular.
"Erebos," I said, "We could just cooperate with the gods?"
"You are joking right!?" He exclaimed, "you know fine rightly how that little brat, Zeus, is, anything that he thinks is more powerful than him he sees as a threat. If we cooperated with him we would be down here forever but in chains!"
I had already considered this though, "I know but-"
Erebos cut me off, "Like look at that kid of Poseidon, Perseus Jackson. Zeus was so afraid the kid was a threat he was gonna kill him, only the boy's dad wouldn't let him. And now the kid has saved his ass at least twice, so he can hardly kill him now. So he made him a god so he could watch him all the time, just in case."
"Perseus is a god?" I stammered. "Since when?"
"Only about a day ago," Erebos said, confused from my reaction.
I frowned. That's definitely new information. "No matter that only makes the plan easier," I said with determination.
"And the plan is?" Erebos quizzed.
"Perseus Jackson is essential in this plan while on the topic of him. We must kidnap the spawn of Athena, Annabeth Chase." I grimaced while saying her name.
I remembered those months ago when the two demigods had come across my Mansion of Night. I remember the girl's trickery and Perseus' witty remarks.
Annabeth Chase. Gods I hated that child. The son of Poseidon I could not hate though. He interested me from the moment I saw him (while yes I was planning on killing him.) There was something different about him, something more powerful than any other demigod I had seen.
Erebos snapped his fingers trying to get my attention. I looked up. "Why do we need the demigod kidnapped Nyx?" He asked once convinced I was listening again.
"Because we need Perseus' help."
