Monsters Isn't The Only Reason Demigods Don't Get Phones

Connor POV

I finished up at the lava wall with the rest of my cabin and headed over to the benches where I had set my things whilst climbing.

I picked up my hoodie which had the 'iLeo' phone (as Leo so insisted they call it) in its pocket and took it out.

At first, it felt weird having a phone after not being allowed to have basic teenager technology since forever, but after Leo had invented non-monster attracting mobiles, it had become like an arm extension for all the demigods.

Chiron didn't approve quite as much and had started confiscating the items, although at least he gave them back eventually, as opposed to Mr D who just smashed them.

I was looking at a photo that one of my half brothers, Cecil Markowitz, had sent me of Clarisse with a 'You Moo Girl' sign taped to her back after she fought the bronze bulls when I got a text message from an unknown number.

It read;

You must have left in such a rush that you left your clothes? Did you leave naked? Actually, I don't want to know. I checked and your wallet and ID are in the pockets too so you probably are wanting the stuff back. You should have just woken me and my dad might've given you a lift home, although I doubt he would be pleased considering you came out of my room in the morning lol. How did you get past my dad without him noticing you by the way? Oh well. I need to talk to you about something too so if you give me your address I can drop the clothes round and we can chat. Thanks.

Confused was an understatement, who was this girl and what was she talking about.

I sent a text back.

Hi, who is this?

I racked my mind thinking of the possibilities of who this was and how they got my number.

Wow Percy, guess you do that a lot then. Only joking, this is Emma, we met in the LAVO Nightclub?

Oh shit. I put the two pieces together in my head.

The blonde girl who came up to me and asked for Percy's number. Well, that was before she went and placed herself on Percy's lap.

I just thought she was hot and Percy had a ton of girls around him anyways so I just gave her my number instead.

I didn't think she would even text, to be honest.

But Percy obviously- oh gods.

He got home because-

Oh no.

What do I say to this girl?

Do I pretend to be Percy?

Do I tell her the truth?

Percy doesn't even know about her himself, should I tell Percy?

I began to formulate a plan.

Oh right! Emma how are you, I just read the text quickly and saw the unknown number, of course, I remember!
