Two chapters in one day? I know, I know, I'm a legend. JK I was feeling generous. Also, I think I might do some major editing on the first couple of chapters because they make me cringe, but if I change anything important, I'll let you guys know. Please don't forget to comment and vote. Love y'all!
Aphrodite POV
I had flashed myself outside of Percy's cabin when I heard a high pitched shriek.
Ooh drama, I thought.
I hoped it wasn't someone getting killed, that was more Ares thing. Oh, and I obviously didn't want anyone to die.
I decided that I could go see Percy later, I needed to see what this was about.
Turned out, I got to see Percy and find out what the scream was about because it seemed that Percy was the one who caused the girl to be so scared.
He looked fuming. Part of me was intrigued to why Percy was trying to kill a girl, who I deemed to be mortal, or why a mortal was even in Camp Half-Blood. The other half was melting because Percy looked so hot when he was angry.
He was really angry.
I quickly got caught up with what was going on by a son of Hermes who said his name was Travis.
A few campers glanced at me, but for once I didn't have all eyes on me. I was alright with that, to be honest.
I can't believe Cora is Percy's daughter! I mean I can believe it, they look so alike, but I just can't believe I didn't see it before.
I was kinda miffed that Percy had a kid with someone but I did quite like the baby who Percy was with so much.
I told myself that it wasn't his fault that he had gotten someone pregnant anyways.
If it was his fault, he wouldn't be so mad at the mortal.
Oh yeah, the mortal.
I reckoned I couldn't just let her die, even if what she did to Percy was pretty bad.
Besides I couldn't blame her, he was good looking.
"Percy, stop!" I shouted at him as he yelled at the blonde girl who was trying to crawl away from him.
He didn't listen and continued to scream at the girl.
I wondered how she got on the floor, he didn't seem to have hit her. Besides Percy wouldn't hit a mortal girl, no matter how angry he was. Right?
I didn't know what to do, I didn't want to physically intervene and get punched.
Then I had an idea.
I scanned the area looking for a particular half-blood. The youngest one here.
My eyes landed on Cora, who was being held by a girl from the Apollo cabin.
I ran to the baby and begged for the camper to hand her over.
The camper was reluctant to give her to me.
I could understand why. Percy loved that baby and if she got hurt because some camper gave her to a goddess, the camper who handed her over would be in big trouble.
I promised I would keep her safe before taking the small child and hurrying back towards Percy.
Cora, seeing her dad so distressed started bawling her eyes out.
Percy looked around, confused, taking his eyes off the mortal girl for the first time.
I hoped that would do it, and he would stop, but rage filled his eyes again and he turned back to the helpless girl.
