Kagerou Days (angst) [songfic]

Note: I don't write songfics using the lyrics, I felt kinda weird :'/ so bare with me will ya? :'D btw, there's blood, so if you're uncomfortable with that kind of stuffs, I suggest you to go from this fanfic. This chapter is also in somekind of main hub (somekind of real life, but in minecraft :']) Just that for now, :)

-Mumbo PoV-
I woke up at my bed. My breathing is unstable, as I remember my dream last night.

Flashback:
It is summer, 14th of August. Grian and I are sitting at a park in the main hub. Grian have Maui at his lap, we both are taking a break from Hermitcraft.

"You know, Mumbo? I don't really like summer" Grian said to me while petting Maui,

"Really? I thought you like it," I answered, Grian just nodding his head while still pwtting Maui.

"WHOA!" Grian shouted as Maui ran away from him. I watched as he tried to catch Maui. From the distance, I heard a truck.

I was about to shout 'watch out' to Grian as the truck smacked his small body into bits. I stared with horor at the road that've covered with Grian's blood.

"What you've seen, Mumbo Jumbo. Is what will happend to you," a whisper caught up to my ears. I spun around and see myself, but in somekind of black and red tone of colour. Before I could react, it all came to a blackness.

Flashback ends

I shook my head, and look at my phone. My eyes widened in confusion as I stare at the date. 14th of August, it is exactly the same date at my dream!

I waste no time, and quickly do my morning rutine. I then go to the same park, and as I expected, Grian is there, with Maui at his lap.

"Hey, Mumbo! What's up?" Grian greet me with his warm smile. I take a seat beside him, then sighed,

"Gri, I'm scared," I started, "I..I have this dream last night..... and we are sitting..... in the exact same spot at my dream," I countinue. Grian shot me a confused look, and with out a warning, Maui escaped his embrace.

I hororfied as I remembered my dream. I quickly grab his wrist, right before he step into the road,

"I....I think we should leave, Grian. Let's.....let's just go to my house?" I asked. Grian looked confused, but he nodded anyway,

We both walked in silence, while Maui somehow following us from behind. Just then, I heard some murmurs around. And before I knew it, some poles of iron fell from the sky, hitting Grian right in the middle his chest.

I gasped as I see Grian. 'No no no no no no no no!' I thought to myself. I felt tears forming from the corner of my eyes, and they slowly escaping. 'Please, please tell me that this is a dream!' I thought, refusing to open my own eyes,

"Sadly, it is reality, Mumbo Jumbo. Just face it already," the same voice in my dream said from behind, I looked behind to see that same person from my dream.

I looked back at Grian as that figure pushed me to the ground. And I swore, I saw Grian putting a dark smile on his face. And then I blacked out.

I opened my eyes. I am at my bed. Remembering what have happend, I checked the calender. The same exact date, 14th of August.

I quickly go to the same park again, after doing my rutine. I ran towards the spot where Grian is. And without any moment, before he even have the chance to greet me, I pulled his wrist. I lead him towards my house, I ignored his questions, and kept pulling him.

I then saw that figure in my dream. He smiled at me sickly, and he pointed his index finger behind me. I looked behind, seeing my hand no longer gripping Grian's wrist.

I widened my eyes and try to catch him as he fall. But I was to late, his head smashed the ground, hard. And his blood splattered everywhere. And before I know it, I blacked out.

-timeskip-

I looked at myself in despair. I don't know anymore how long this loop have been going. Is it a year? Is it 10 years? I've lost count.

I awake, just like always, in the same date. I just go to the park, don't bothering to do my rutine things. It all went the same, but just as Maui jump of Grian's embrace, I froze.

"What you've seen, Mumbo Jumbo, is what will happend to you"

I snapped as Grian almost reaching the road. I step forward him, and push him back. Letting the truck smack me into bits.

-3rd person PoV-

Grian stared in horor as Mumbo saved his life. Tears flowing through his eyes. He could feel the presence of a soul next to him.

Mumbo stared at the figure that looked like him in victory. As the figure cried, it slowly fading. But Mumbo stared shocked as he saw a new figure that looks like Grian, but in a white-blue colour tone, glaring at him.

Grian blacked out as soon as Mumbo's figure completely vanished. And he woke up in his bed.

"Guess I failed again, huh?" Grian said to himself. He let Maui and Pearl came to embrace him as he cried, sick of this time loop. Little did he know that his figure silently watching him while smirking.
