The car stopped and he got out so fast. He pulled me out of the car pushing my back against the car

Grayson: Look I'm not trying to argue with you. And you know I would never hurt you. But disrespecting me, that's a whole other level of wrong.

Izabella: Why would you keep this from me?

Grayson: To protect you.

Izabella: When did lying equal protection?

Grayson: I don't know, I just never wanted to see you get hurt.

Izabella: But not knowing who you really are after all this time. When did I lose you?

Grayson: You didn't .

He put his hand on my face but I pulled away

Grayson: Button...

Izabella: I just want my Gray back. And this, Ace I don't think that's him

Grayson: Just let me explain

Izabella: Okay

He gave me a chance to explain when the Parker thing happened. I just couldn't get over the fact he had another life.

Grayson: We've gotta go, so please get in the car

He opened the door and I got in putting on my seat belt. Gray got in the car and we started driving

Grayson: I guess I should start from the beginning

I didn't say anything even though I knew he was expecting a response. 

Grayson: When my dad died he left his entire dynasty to me. My uncle is taking care of it until I decide what I want to do with my life. And I still haven't but I had to get involved before I made a decision so I could have the control I needed later. 

What did his dad do?

Izabella: Gray what did your dad do?

Grayson: He was a jack of all trades. He had a street business to bring in a little extra money and it turned out to be more than I bargained for.

Izabella: So you knew your whole life and you kept it from me

Grayson: I had to, if people knew I had someone they'd target you. If you got hurt it would've been my fault and I couldn't have that on my conscious.

Izabella: That was better

Grayson: It kept you safe, it kept my mom safe

Izabella: So you're mom doesn't know

Grayson: It's a man's business, that's what my uncle said but now they know you're here. Now they know you exist...

Izabella: I'm a target again in someone else bullshit. I've got a sign on my back again. Gray I just finished being someone's toy, I can't do that again. 

Grayson: And you won't, I know this is a lot to comprehend. All of this but I swear it's not as bad as it seems. 

Izabella: What did you lose?

Grayson: Well technically it was taken from me. My dad had this house over here and someone from a rival squad took it. The house isn't the problem it's what's under the floorboards. 

Izabella: You're gonna break into a house?

Grayson: We're going to break into a house. 

Izabella: No

Grayson: It belongs to me to my family

Izabella: Whatever it is I'll buy you a new one

Grayson: This is irreplaceable
