Set Up

I grabbed my phone and Gray grabbed the phone and we went to his house.

Izabella: Mom, Dad, I'm gonna stay at Gray's tonight

Mom: Okay, Just be safe.

Izabella: Always am, love you.

We walked out the door and drove to Gray's house. We ran to his room and he found the bear in his closet. Then he handed it to me. 

Grayson: What's so important about that stupid bear?

Izabella: This bear might be how we save Atlas so please drop the attitude.

Grayson: I'm sorry

I held the bear and squeezed it like any child would've with a new toy. That's when I felt something inside of it. I sat it in my lap and search around for a velcro backing. But I was gonna have to cut it. 

Izabella: I'm gonna need a needle and thread

Grayson: Why?

Izabella: If those Gremlins come here and see your room covered in stuffing, they're gonna come after us. We need to buy as much time as possible. 

Grayson: Okay so how do I keep my mom safe?

Izabella: They don't know about me, which means they probably don't know about my parents. So our parents are gonna have a an adult get together at my house. It will keep your mom busy and out of the house for a few hours. 

Grayson: Which means we have a ticking clock.

Izabella: More like a bomb but yeah. 

He went to get the thread and sent his mom to hang out with my parents. I took the pocket knife out of my boot and made a tiny incision. I pulled out a flash drive, this is was biggest scavenger hunt I'd ever been on and I wasn't sure we'd figure it out in time. I sewed the bear back up and had Gray put it back in his closet. Once that was taken care of I pulled the flash drive into Gray's computer. 

Grayson: What's on it?

Izabella: It's blue prints ,names, and Gremlins pictures. And I assume this is what we're looking for. 

I pointed to the screen.

Grayson: A deed

Izabella: A file of deeds, to different properties at least a dozen. 

Grayson: I didn't even know we owned all of this.

Izabella: You don't, not anymore. If the Gremlins have the deeds it's theirs so we have to get back. And I assume your dad comes out of hiding and then we can be normal seventeen year olds. 

Grayson: As lovely as that sounds we've got to make it to seventeen first.

I stood up and put my hand on his face. 

Izabella: So let finish this, I want a normal with you. I want to know who you are all of it. But we've got to bring your dad home first. 

Grayson: Let's go get my dad. 

We studied the blue print to the house the Gremlins were located in.  Somehow Gray got word that they were having a party at a club. So that would give us a chance to break in. 

Izabella: We're gonna need back up, someone at the party to make sure all the Gremlins stay there.

Grayson: I've got Jaxson.

Izabella: I'll call Nova and the girls. See if they can get out a few hours. 

Grayson: That makes seven on sight.
