Chapter 8~Ambrosia's Past Pt. 1

~Queen Aleena's PoV~

{Flashback Begins}
   It's dark and rainy as I jog through the alleyways of my once beautiful kingdom. I've already dropped off all but the youngest of my five children. Placing her basket down at the doorstep, I gently kiss her forehead.

   'She looks so much like my brother.' I say to myself, placing the note in the gap between the door and the frame. As I'm about to place her medallion over her head, I hear the words I hoped I would never hear.

   "Queen spotted. New Task: Capture or exterminate." The patrolbot reports.
I sprint away not realizing in my panic, that I never knocked or rang the doorbell.

{Flashback Over}

~Ambrosia's PoV~

   I bolt upwards, frightened and scared. I yelp and curl into a ball as unfamiliar people enter the bedroom.

   "Aw~, the poor thing. We frightened her." Voice 1(Blaze) said.

   "Let's leave girls. I think this is to much for her." Voice 2(Pearl) says.

   "Hey Ambrosia. Are you okay? What's the earliest thing you remember?" Voice 3(Silver) coaxes, rubbing my quills in a way that calms me down and I uncurl.

   "I remember being wet, in a cloth basket, metal thing grabbing me, and endless pain for years." I murmur.

   "I MONSTER! I KILLED BLUE!" I suddenly burst out and a cobalt blue quill floats out of my golden ones, but no one notices it.

   "Shhh~." Voice 1, who I rename 'Cat', soothes me. "Here, you must be hungry." She then feeds me something. It tastes good, so I let her continue, while 'Foxy' does some weird glowing magic on my legs, erasing the hurt.

Translations for what Ambrosia said:

   'I remember being wet' means that she remembers it raining

   'In a cloth basket' remembers her surroundings

   'Metal thing grabbing me' when the 'bot lost Aleena's trail, it took her with him

   'And endless pain for years' she was tortured by Dr. Robotnik as a way to relieve his stress from the time she was 2 till she was 5

   'I Monster! I killed Blue!' Her memory loss was a slight side effect of the teleporter. Eggman manipulated her into thinking she killed her brother Sonic, when in reality, he's alive and well.
