Chapter 11~Sonic Search

~Sonia's PoV~

   We've been on this world for about three days. Right now we're following a lead about a blue blur that appears quite frequently around a place called Station Square.

   "Can you believe it Manic?!" I said excitedly, giving little skip. "We're finally gonna find him!"

   "I just hope our lil' sister is with him." Manic replied, the joy and excitement I felt showing in his eyes. "I don't wanna find him and realize that Amber really is gone."

   "Well, well, well. Hello there you two." A voice calls out. "I'm Doctor Eggman. You two look like the perfect bait for an annoying blue rodent I know."

   We whirl around to where the voice came from and we're suddenly in a large robot's grip. And there is no control panel in the arms. We begin to struggle frantically.

   "Let them GO, Egghead!!" Another, much younger voice yells. We look to the newcomer and see a young fox who looks to be about 13 years old. His eyes flicker unexpectedly, as if he recognizes us, and suddenly he flies up and hits the arms holding my brother and I. Just as quickly as we were grabbed, we're dropped.

   "Gah!" I cry out, clutching one of my ankles. I must've landed on it. I only hope it's not broken.

   "Sis! You OK?" Manic asks me, rushing over to help me out of the way of a wildly careening robot.

   "My ankle... It hurts..." I reply, limping over to the bottom of a nearby tree with Manic's help. "Who is that?"

   We both turn to see the man eject some sort of hovercraft out of the fallen robot. However, the two-tailed fox proceeds to beat up the hovercraft.

   "CURSE YOU TAILS!!!!" Dr Eggman exclaims as he suddenly finds himself blasting off into the distance(you what to do in the comments😉).

   "Hi there. I'm Miles "Tails" Prower. But please, call me Tails." He says, now holding a green gem that he didn't have before. He quickly gasps as he comes over to us. "You're hurt! Follow me. You can stay with us. I'll get you some ice once there. What're your names?"

   "The name's Manic lil' dude." Manic replied, wrapping an arm around my neck to help support me. "And this is my older sis, Sonia. We're looking for our other sibs.
