Chapter 18: Jane's Gonna Pick Me Up 

I don't know what's gotten into Jane today. She seemed so excited to go to school somehow. She told me that she volunteered to actually pick me up from home so we can go together. When I asked her where she's staying she just say it's "really near". Weird girl somehow. Serene and dad were out somewhere I don't know. As I ate my cereal, there's someone knocking on the door while calling my name. 

That's definitely Jane! 

I was about to approach to the front door when I heard someone open up. Shit, it's Ana. I tried to hide behind the wall just to see what her reactions are when Jane came. Ana crossed her arms and look at Jane from her head to toe. I wasn't quite sure what she was talking about but one thing I know is that Jane doesn't really dare to speak up. Just look at her posture ; she never really looked Ana into the eyes but look down. She twitch her own jeans and bite her own lips like damn girl! You're showing fear honey! You should be fighting with her ! I know Ana would not let anyone she doesn't like in her house so I walked quietly towards the front door so they won't realize I'm there.

"Hell bitch, no one even wanna ride with a slut like you!" I clenched my teeth when those words came out from Ana's mouth like an acid. I hold Ana's shoulder and turned her around roughly so she can see that I was at her back all along.

"Oh.. Hey Diana! I was about to ask who's car-"

"Say's a slut who's always expecting her neighbor to pick her ugly ass up." I scoffed, "It was sucha shame of you to actually call Joe yesterday to pick you up here huh?" I stared at her real hard. Her mouth hanged open and her face was priceless. Shocking much? I'm sure she's wondering how I knew she called Joe. 

Last night after dinner, I heard Ana was giggling on the phone and left her bedroom door ajar. I happened to actually walked passed her bedroom when curiosity gets the best out of me ; I eavesdrop the flirty conversation between Joe and her. She goes blah blah blah on the phone after which I don't give a shit and then went to my own room. Well I don't even know why in the first place I was eavesdropping when I don't give a shit about BRUH. Oh well, I'm just curious after all. 

ANYWAYS! Ana was still stuttering for words but none came out. Jane looked at me and her eyes shining as if I'm her knight, saving her from evil.

"Why? Can't think of a word to say? Because you're such a pathetic loser." Jane couldn't contain her laughed she actually chuckled while covering her mouth. Ana clenched her teeth and was about to open her mouth again when we heard an engine roar. We look out to see who is that.

The Lamborghini give it a loud roar before the engine was turn off. He open the door and stretched his body before he looked at us and waved, making Ana feel so excited.

Huh, speak of the devil.

As Joe went out of his car and approached to us, I get a chance to look at what he's wearing today. Don't blame me again, blame my eyes for checking him out. 

But believe me I'm not alone. Jane and Ana also does the same thing I did.

He wore his polo white t-shirt that hugs his body, showing off his abs under the shirt with a long black pants. He wore a shade and was smiling towards us, while he ran his hair carelessly through his black, shiny hair. Damn he sure do look stunning all the time no wonder girls are drooling over him. As he approach us, he took out his shade at the same time, showing his beautiful hazel brown eyes. But before he was here, I got a chance to say a word to Ana, 

"Disturb Jane and your life will be fucked up for the entire life." I whispered. By the time I said those words to Ana, Joe is standing in front of us already.

"Hello ladies!" he greeted us cheerfully. That slutty Ana automatically stand beside him and hugged his waist. URGH! 

I just crossed my arms and gave him my flattest look ever while leaning on the front door. Oh man, can you guys get out of my life please? I don't wanna even look at his face.

"Go get your girl and fuck off boy." simple and sweet. 

Jane burrowed her eyebrow and tsk-ed me while Ana open her eyes wider to scare me. Well if someone did that to me when I was 2, maybe I'd cried but not anymore. Joe raised his eyebrows and looked at me amusedly, "Wow. Is that your way to say good morning to others? Where's you manners lady?" He stare at me. I was shocked. Like dumbfounded for once. Did he just say 'where's my manners'? 

"Shut up." was my answer and look at Jane, "Jane we got plenty of time to go to school so why not you just come in? I don't wanna stay outside and talk to some people who thinks that I give a shit about them," I grab hold of Jane's wrist and pull her inside my house while slamming the door in their faces. She stumble a bit and looked at me angrily.

"You don't have to do that Diana! What's gotten into you?" I slowly took my seat and continued eating my cereal. 

"What?" I asked her with my mouth full of cereal. She crossed her arms and stare at the window, 

"You're a meanie." she muttered.

"What do you expect honey? Haven't you learn your lesson when your ex leaves you? And there's that jerk letting that slut holding him." 

"C'mon Diana! Your words can be really hurtful!"

"I only hurt someone who deserves it. You're befriending a badass so you gotta learn something though and-" I stop in my mid sentence and looked at her, "Did I ever hurt your feelings babe?"

"WHAT? No.." she laughed nervously and straightened her back. I squinted my eyes and eye her, "You sure?" She kept quiet and look out at the window.

I knew it. I put my cereal away from me and look at her. I hold both her hand and look at her, 

"Babe look..." I swallow my saliva, "There's no one in this house, just both of us. So this is me, swallowing my pride standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for everything okay?" She suddenly give me that disgusting face and look at me,

"HEY! That's part of Taylor Swift's lyrics right???" We look at each other for a second and laughed. 

Oops! She caught me! In the mid of our laugh she manage to talk "What the fuck man!" that makes me jump and stop laughing,

"Woaaahh did someone just cursed?" I asked innocently and put my hand on my mouth.

"What do you expect? I'm befriending with a badass after all that's where I learn this whole shit." she wink, then pull away my cereal and eat it. Aww boy, she can be so adorably cute at times. Once we're done eating my cereal, I went to brush my teeth and we go out together.

Only then I know why she's very enthusiastic to bring me to school with her.

Jane hopped happily as she stand beside her new car and do this 'tadaa!!' pose,

"I'm gonna drive you to school with my brand new Suzuki Swift baby!"

"ERMAGAWD Yeah, it's a beautiful car!!" I said in overdramatic way . Jane rolled her eyes on me, "I know you're jealous.." and quickly went into the car.

"Whuuuuut? I don't wanna hurt your feelings so I'm happy for ya! HAHAHAHA!!" I shook my head and smile while going into the car too. I guess it took 5 minutes to reach the school and in that 5 minutes time, I eventually doze off in her car. I never thought I was that sleepy after I eat some cereals.
