Chapter 19: Meet these assholes during lunch time

"Yes Diana, yes, you do look like one zombie." Jane comment repeatedly when I asked her if I looked sleepy. It's obvious because on the way to school she didn't even have the time to talk to me since I was asleep. We're walking on the way at the canteen, its lunch time.

"I can't sleep well yesterday. I ended up sleeping at 4 in the morning I don't even know why.."

I hardly get any sleep last night. I can't even focused at what some other teachers are talking about. I was sleeping all the time. As usual, we'll sit on the circular table which fits 7 people at most and chill there when Nathan appeared out of nowhere and approached us.

"Hey Didi!" he waved at me, "Hi sweetheart," he gave a peck on Jane's cheek, making her blushed slightly.

"Hey, sup Nate?" I smiled, trying to make myself awake a little. 

"Oh erm.. I was thinking if I could join you guys here..?" he asked. 

"Oh sure of course! You fine with it right?" Jane grin from ear to ear and gave me that big puppy eyes.

"Mmm..." was all I said. She knew I'll say yes eventually. Nathan muttered a thank you to me and sit beside Jane while hugging her waist.

"Well well well well well..." Suddenly came another one with a black leather jacket hanging on his shoulder this time, "Look who's here.." he crossed his arms and smirked.

Oh come on not again.

Joe whistled loud enough for his gang to come and stand behind him.

Oh man, not these assholes now! 

"If Nathan can sit here, which means we can sit here too, right Jane?" Joe looked at her and smirked. Nathan was glaring at Joe (I mean who wouldn't do that when someone tries to flirt with someone's girl?) but somehow he just gave up and looked at me, raising his eyebrow signaling me if they can sit here. I nod at him in acknowledgement.

"You may." Nathan spoke up, a little sternly. Joe smirked and looked at the boys at the back "Let's take a seat shall we?" Joe sit across the table, his smirk never leaves on his face. 

"Heeeeyyy babe.." the blonde guy was the first to conquered the seat beside me. He inhale, taking in my scent and close his eyes. Eww.

"You're that girl who beat that Sam at the mall right?" then he came closer, "What's your name again?" instead of answering his question, I just looked away when something caught my ears that makes me fume.

"DAMN NATE YOU GOT ONE SEXY HOTTIE CHICK WITH YA!" Landon sit beside Zack.

"Hey Landon, stop-" I interrupted Nathan who was about to say something. 

"Dude, I think you should watch your mouth and shut the hell up. There's nothing to comment." I said it, clenching my teeth and crossing my arms. 

"Woah there! Chill girl!" Zack gimme that surprise look when I stood up for Nathan. 

"Why? Is that even your problem nerd?" Landon glare at me.

OH HE DIDN'T JUST CALL ME THAT!

"NERD?" I scoffed while rolling my eyes, "Think twice before you call me a nerd. You don't call someone's girl a sexy hottie unless you want to get kick in the balls by Nathan, wuss!" I raised my eyebrow, "You don't want any guys to call your bloody Mary one hottie, do you? It sounded as if she's gonna get screwed up by others am I right?" I smirked. 

Mary is his (toy)girlfriend but I barely seen them together. She's part of the cheerleader team and of course, has a great shape. I've seen once she was flirting with someone during some breaks (even though she's with Landon) and I believe Landon would AT LEAST feel jealous when someone plays with his toy. Landon took a threatening step towards me with his eyes full of anger but Danae stopped him and told him to chill out. Jane tugged on my shirt, telling me to stop while Nathan just look at me and shake his head on me, and mouthed at me like 'it's okay'. I know he wants me to stop pissing his friend but he was angry at Landon that he wants me to continue with what I'm doing.
