Peter's POV

My face pales. I've seen these field trips before when I'm at the tower, sometimes Mr Stark sends me to help out. But it won't be the worst for me. Wanda, on the other hand, is part of the program. I have to get a guardian to sign my permission form, but I think Loki took the guardianship from Mr Stark, (cause he's my dad, boogie-woogie-woogie) so how am I gonna do this? Loki and I look at each other don't worry, we'll figure something out, He says in my mind, trying to reassure me. But what about Wanda? I ask, and we turn to her, who has a shell-shock look on her face, which is paler than mine. We try to make a straight face as the permission notes are handed out. Mr Harris finally gets to us, and gives us all permission notes. When he gets to me, he just says "Can I please speak with you, Mr Parker?" I groan internally. When will everyone give up trying to prove that I'm lying about the internship. "Peter, I just wanted to say, who will sign your permission note?" I must have looked shocked, because he elaborated "Uhm, I'm sorry, I heard your aunt... Ummm... And I just wanted to know if you had been... maybe... adopted, yet? Cause-" Oh. "No, no it's fine Mr Harris, I was adopted. I just thought how strange it was that you seem to be the only person who believes that I have an internship" Oof. I should have left that topic alone. "Oh, umm, I talked to Mr Stark about it a while back, cause I was concerned you were lying, and didn't want to embarrass you" I nod, gratefully. Thank goodness for Mr Harris and Miss Johnson, the most chill teachers in the school. "But, I doubt anyone will believe it" Mr Harris just smiles "Well it's definitely someone who lives at the tower, so I will believe it, and we can ask them when we get there"

I walk back over to Loki, Wanda and MJ. MJ has her usual hard face, but I can see something in her eyes. "MJ, are you okay?" She just glares at me "Loser #2 left because he thought all of us knew something he didn't and he's jealous" Well, of course it's true, but I can't just go and tell EVERYONE, otherwise it'll slip out, and Ned is the most likely to let that happen. I sigh, feeling a little upset. This is just all one big mess, and it was all because of my Parker luck. I run my hand through my hair, and Loki gives me that look, the one that you could recognize it was him even if he was in disguise, the one that looks truly concerned, and pats me on the back. I am, I'll admit irritated that Ned would leave just because of that, but I know he'd go into fanboy mode, and that would be very embarrassing. I have a silent argument with Wanda and Loki, debating what we should do. "Hellooooo?" MJ waves her hands in front of us. "Not all of us can read minds" "Oh" I mumble, and send them one last message We'll talk about this at the tower. They nod, and we turn to MJ. "Are you gonna go?" I ask MJ. "Only if you are," She says, supportingly "and please do, so then I can draw everyone's faces in crisis" I look at Loki, who just shrugs at me "I'm going, but I don't know who's gonna sign my note, cause I don't have a legal guardian" Wanda just looks at me sympathetically "Me too, Clint is my legal guardian" MJ looks at me smugly, "the god and telekinetic have spoken, what about the spider boy?" I sigh. "Fine" I say, thoroughly unenthusiastic. "I'll go"

As we get home, Loki turns Wanda and himself back and go to the living room. "Another day at the true hel done" Loki says, triumphantly. "I thought it was okay" Wanda says, quietly. "It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected" I shrug. "That's your opinion, now how are we gonna do this field trip business?" I ask, mainly talking to Loki, seeing as Clint can just sign Wanda's. "Good luck finding a way" She says sincerely, before walking away to talk to Clint probably. "Ughh, I don't know" Loki groans. "I'm too old for this!" I smirk. But I have a plan, and I hope I can pull this off.

Restrictions are slowly getting lifted, and I hope everyone is slowly getting back into their normal routines (aside from school) so stay safe everyone! 💖💖
