seven o'clock pm.

amanda and pete were happier than ever in their new found relationship all thanks to kris. they both were skeptical of how things would look to the media, but no one has a clue that they are together which has made things easier.

amanda knew that this relationship was brought about in a very different way than her previous ones, so she worried that things would be different too. but in fact, it was better, easier, calmer. there was no drama.

there wasn't any scandals or rumors spreading about them. they were just them and that's all they wanted after how both of their previous relationships ended so publicly.

amanda gives most of the credit of how smooth sailing things have been going to pete. she thinks he's the reason that everything is better. he's the reason she's happier now.

without meaning too, she went off on pete earlier about hanging out with colson. him not telling her that he was going to see her ex triggered memories of when colson had lied to her and hid things.

amanda knew it wasn't right to compare them, because after all they're two different people. but it was hard not too. especially after being in a very toxic relationship.

"i brought your favorite." pete smiled brightly as amanda opened the door. he was holding up a bag of caramel corn in his hand and shook it around a bit.

"awh you're so cute." amanda beamed, letting him into the apartment. stassie and sammy were residing on the couch watching a movie, when pete and amanda passed them. they were headed straight to amanda's bedroom where they could spend some time alone.

stassie knew that amanda and pete had been set up by kris to help better their social images. but sammy on the other hand just assumed that the two of them got together naturally. they should really fill the poor guy in.

but alas, in amanda's eyes, the less people who know about their arrangement, the better. she thinks that it would just complicate things and no one wanted that.

"so what movie do you want to watch?" pete asked as he took a seat on the bed. "one of yours?" amanda suggested with a smirk, handing him the remote.

"hmm. which one?" he questioned with his eyebrows raised. taking a moment to think amanda placed her finger on her chin. "any one is fine."

"i think i might be able to let you watch my new movie." replying, pete smiled. "a new movie?" amanda's eyes lit up like a kid when she'd heard his words. her smile grew greatly at the thought.

"you're so adorable. and yeah. it's called big time adolescence. it came out at sundance in january."
telling her, he laid back, resting his head on the headboard.

"oh i think that's the one my ex went to the premier for. when we were broken up." amanda thinned her lips awkwardly, not knowing why she chose to bring that up.

"yeah he's in the movie though, so if that bothers you we can watch something else." pete informed her with a knowing expression. amanda's eyes widened at his words, surprised. she had no idea colson was in the movie with him.

"you know it's okay. you're the star right?" replying, she poked him in his side and he let out a few laughs. "yeah i am. let me hook up my phone to your tv. can you grab me a water though while i do this?"

"oh yeah i'll be right back." getting up, amanda nodded and headed into the kitchen. as she opened up the fridge to grab a bottle of water, the doorbell rang, startling her.
