Those Strange Feelings

CHAPTER 8

LISA'S POV

That's the right to do Lisa. You can do it !

After our talk in the kitchen I choose to left her there. Not because I want to be rude to her but because I'm just afraid of her, afraid for her painful words and actions. I don't think it's nice to start a day with those.

We are now here in the conference. The four of us, Mr. Park and Mr. Yang. We are sitting in a swivel chair with a long wide table in front of us.

That's our sitting arrangement. I already tell Chaeng my plan, that I will distance myself for the mean time and she said that she will support me.

Im trying my best not to make an eye contact with her especially now that she's sitting in front of me. I can feel her gaze at me but Im choosing to ignore and pretend that she's not looking at me.

"So for your first ever song, I will tell to you your position in this group. Jisoo you are the lead vocalist/visual, Chaeyoung you are the main vocalist, Jennie the main rapper and Lisa the main dancer and lead rapper.," our boss saying our position in the group.

We're listening to him attentively, when he instruct Mr. Park to give to us the copy of our first song. As expected my part has a rap. So that means I need an extra effort to deliver it very well.

Mr. Park teach us how the song should deliver, what is the tone, mood and the right facial expression because he is the one who wrote this song.

After 5 hours of practicing, our boss dismiss us and instruct us to go back to our dorm but from time to time we should still continue practicing even in our dorm.

"What should we eat for the dinner ?," Chaeng ask us. We don't notice that its almost dinner time, because were too busy practicing our part in our own room. Now were all in a living room.

"Chicken please !," Jichu said while making a puppy eyes. We laugh at her.

"Yah ! Jichuu stop that. You're so ugly whenever you are doing that," I said while Jichuu glare at me.

"Chaeng ! Please chicken huh ? Huh ? Huh ? ," she beg while shaking the Chipmunk

"Okay ! Okay ! Chicken done ! How about you Jennie? ," in my peripheral view I can see that she's scratching her head while thinking. I don't look at her directly.

"Some spicy ramyeon will do," she said.

"How about you Lali?," I don't know what to eat. So..

"Whatever you eat Chipmunk, that's fine with me too.," I said. She nod and ready to go outside the dorm but I stop her.

"I can come with you if you want. So I can help you to carry those food.," I offered to her. But Jichu stop me.

"No. I will come. I want to buy something too downstairs.," she said and drag Chaeng outside the dorm. Now its me and Jennie alone in the living room. An awkward silence filled the living room that's why I decided to break it.

"I will just go inside my bedroom. Just tell Chaeng to call me when they already arrived.," I said to her, still without making an eye contact with her.

She just nod. So I walk fast to go inside my room.

I hope you adjust quickly Jennie. Cause it's very hard to avoid you.

JENNIE'S POV

We are now eating in the living room while watching some netflix. Lisa and Jisoo Unnie are sitting on the floor while munching the chicken while me and Chae are here in the couch.

"Jisoo Unnie, can you give me some water ?," I ask her and she immediately pour some water in the glass near her.

"Here," she ask without looking at me. And I drink it.

"Jichu where's my glass here ?," Lisa suddenly ask Jisoo Unnie. I stiff , because I think this glass that I'm holding is hers. And I'm right ! Cause she's now looking at glass that I'm holding.

"Is this yours ?," I ask nervously. I know that my hands are shaking when I raised the glass slowly.

"Y-yeah. ," she said and nod slowly. She look at me. Gosh ! This is the the first time that she look at me after our talk in the kitchen. I miss her eyes. Wait?! Really Jennie ? This is just the first day when she decide to put some wall between the two of you. And you miss already her eyes ?! You're weird self !

"Here. You can have mine Lali.," Chaeng said then gave her glass with a straw to Lisa. I feel so annoy when Lisa grab the glass and immediately drink there. In the straw !

I drop the glass in the mini table in front of us and stood up to go in my bed.

"I'll go to bed now. I'm sleepy. Night. ," I tell to them when I was walking without looking at them.

I'm annoyed again. What the heck Jennie ? Are you really a bipolar ? Tsk.

Then I tried so hard to make myself sleep. Because I'm not yet really sleepy, so I just fish my phone and look for some music to get play. Maybe it can help to make me feel sleepy.

30 minutes later....

1 hr later...

Argh ! Sleep now Jennie !

Another 30 minutes....

What's the matter ?? Why I can't get my goodnight sleep now ?

I'm done with this ! Maybe some milk can help. I go out to my room and went to kitchen. When I am making my milk, I heard some footsteps that looks like it's going in the kitchen too.

Please, Not Lisa... I dunno if I can really sleep tonight if its really her.

Maybe they heard my prayer because its Chae. Some part of me is happy but some are disappointed. But why?

"You can't sleep too?," I ask her. But she just shook her head saying that no is her answer

"I got some sleep already. I just felt my stomach growling again so some bread will not much I guess.," I just smile and nod then continue what I am doing.

"How about you? Can't sleep ?," she ask and I just nod again.

"Why ? Is there something bothering you ? ," I felt my self stiffen after hearing her question.

Should I ask her ? But what I am going to ask ? Maybe if there is something going on between her and Lisa ?

"Jennie ? You okay ? Are you sick?," she ask that make me came back to my senses.

" No. I'm fine. I'll go now Chae I will just drink this in my room. Goodnight. ," I said and walk fast to get away from her.

"O-okay.. goodnight Jen.," I hear her say but I didn't look back anymore.

It's good that I didn't ask her. What will be her reaction if I ask that to her? My gosh ! Use your brain Jennie !
