Those Strange Feelings

CHAPTER 26

LISA'S POV

"You want this Nini ? ," I ask her if she want a dumpling on her plate. The event is so great ! We saw a lot of pictures of different artists from different agencies and some special performances from the chosen artists. Now we are having some free time to eat and have a little chitchat to other idols then the event will proceed.

"Just one Lili," she said and let me put the dumpling on her plate. After we got our foods, we go back to our table.

The four of us are now busy munching and talking about random things when someone butt in on us.

"A-ahm... Hi Jennie ! I don't know if you know me but I'm Kai. ," the man said and offer his hand  while scratching his nape. I know who is he. He's a member of one of the biggest boy group in Korea. It's Kai.

"Hi... and yeah I know you ," Jennie greet him back and accept his hand. Kai also say his 'Hi' on us and we just nod and smile at him.

"A-hm how was the event so far ? Did you have some fun ? ," He ask and I know what he's trying to do. He's trying to have a conversation to Jennie. Tsk !

"Well yeah... its great and really fun. I'm enjoying it. ," she smile her gummy smile at him that cause me to feel a little bit irritated. Chaeng and Jisoo make their own world too and don't mind the people around them. I focus on my food instead and totally ignored Jennie and Kai as they continue to talk about i don't know what the hell it is !

"I still don't want to end this conversation with you but I think I really need to.," Kai said.

"Oh !  its okay.," Jennie chuckled after saying that. While me ? I am just here silently eavesdropping on them while murdering my food on my plate.

"If you don't mind... Can I get your number ? So you know... we can get hung up sometimes," He said that made me stop and stare blankly on the table. How dare he !

I feel Jennie's hand below the table hold my left knee. She look at me like she's asking if she can give her number but I just look at her like I don't care if she will give it to him or not. But deep inside I'm already kicking his ass to get out of our fucking table !

"S-sure," Jennie said and type it to his phone. He look so happy and smile from ear to ear. What an ugly smile of yours ? I shook my head in disbelieve and left a deep sigh.

That scene continually play inside my head that cause me to be silent all through out the event. Jennie try to get my attention and lighten up my mood by opening some topics or asking random questions but I just response as short as possible then look back again on the stage. I know I kinda rude but I can't help it !

"Ladies and gentlemen, thankyou for making this day memorable and very meaningful to all of us. Thankyou for coming and have a safe day everyone ! ," The emcee said that made us all applause our hands.

"Lis, do you have some plan after this ? Common lets grab some ramyeon and catch up just like the old days. ," Mina suddenly said and snake her hands on my right arm. I didn't notice that she's in front of me now.

"Can we do it next time Mina ? I'm already tired for this day ," I said to her. Half lie. Half truth.

"Don't be so kill joy Lis ! Let's do it now, I can't wait ! ," she said and whined like a child. Hayst ! This woman.
