Those Strange Feelings

CHAPTER 42

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

"Okay... what is it Chipmunk?," Lisa ask the moment she entered my bedroom. I ask her to come here because I have something important to say to her.

"Where's Jennie and Jisoo Unnie?," I ask back.

"They're already on their rooms... why?," I shook my head and try to fixed my mind before looking at Lisa who look so worried at me.

"Chaeng... what's bothering you? You know that you can tell me anything, right? I am worried.," Lisa hold both of my hands as my tears began to fall down on my eyes. I feel so bad... I think I'm the worst.

"Ssshhhh... okay, cry it all for now, I will wait 'til you get ready to talk about it, okay? I am just here, Chaeng," She pulled me into a most comfortable hug then continously tap my back trying her best to make me feel better. As always I cry like a baby on her shoulder and pouring all of my guilt and sadness on her. Why am I feeling like this? It is my choice on the first place but here I am hugging my bestfriend because of my stupidity.

"You okay now?," Lisa ask when I stop from crying. I lift up my head and see that her shirt is already soaking because of my tears.

"S-Sorry..," I said while sniffing my colds, she just laugh and pinch my cheeks then help me to wipe out my tears.

"Nah. No need to say sorry, Chaeng. I can always lend my shoulder to you whenever and wherever you need it. You are my best of friends.," she said that made me smile.

"Yes! You smile already! I guess you feeling better now,Chipmunk!," she yells with matching some punch in the air, I can't help but to chuckles because of her childish act.

"Low down you're voice, Lali. You might disturb them from sleeping. We are all tired from a hectic practice.," I told to her as she quickly cover her mouth with both of her hands.

"But seriously, Chaeng... what's bothering you? You seems so off since earlier. Is there something happened in the party that made you feel this way?," Lisa ask. I composed myself and take a deep breathe before clearing my throat to start spilling the tea.

"Y-Yes there is...," I started.

"Okay...?," Lisa said saying indirectly to me to continue.

"Ahm.. it is when you suddenly disappear in the birthday party last night. I was planning to look for you but a pair of hands stop me and made me look for the owner of it...," I stop and try to remember what happened last night.

Flashback...

"I'll just get some drinks, Chaeng. Wait for me here..," Jisoo Unnie say and I just smile and nod. I enjoy so much watching the crowd as they dance and talk to each other like they forgot that they are celebrity and not just a normal personality. So careless and just enjoying moments. Until realization hits me....

"Where's Lisa?," I murmur to myself. I try to look on the pool of crowds but even a single sign of Lalisa Manoban's presence was no where to be found. Walking more deeper in the crowd I feel a pair of hands hold my wrist that made me look for the owner of it.

"Jimin..?," I said when I recognize him.

"Hi.. Chaeyoung.," he move a little bit more closer to me making me smell the spirit of alcohol on his breathe. He is drunk.
