Those Strange Feelings

CHAPTER 34

LISA'S POV

"Nini, Your phone keeps on vibrating. Won't you get up and read it ," I said to Jennie whose busy watching some movie on Netflix. We came home together with Chaeng because the doctor allowed her to continue her rest here, but doctor being a doctor, he said a lot of do's and don'ts for Chaeng while she's in the range of resting time.

"Oh ! Thank you Lili.," Jennie said and took her phone on the center table. I watch her as she read the messages and creased her brows then smile next. Why is she smiling ? Who's that ???

"Who is that ? ," I ask her when she didn't stop smiling.

"Ahhh just a friend Lili. ," she said then put again her phone back on the center table.

"Whose friend ? ," I didn't stop asking her. Jennie look so confuse right now. Maybe she didn't expect me to be this so curious in this kind of little things. But why would I stop asking anyway ? I'm damn curious.

"It was Kai. He just sent some quotes that are totally a corny one. ," She said like it was not a big deal. But dude ! Its a big deal for meee !!!

"Really ? Then what did you say ? ," I said in a flat tone but still maintaining my cool like it didn't affect me.

"Nothing. Just a smiley face. Why Lili ? ," she ask but I just shook my head and smile at her sweetly.

"Nothing much Nini... lets watch now ? ," Jennie nod then sit closer to me. She put her head on my right shoulder then focus again to the movie in front of us. The two girls are currently eating some I don't know what it is inside the kitchen.

       Lisa you don't need to feel insecure to that Kai. You're with Jennie, you are the one she's hugging, saying goodmorning and goodnight, taking care, kissing and most specially she likes you.

       But why do I feel like she will leave any moment. I can't let that Kai steal my girl. I know from the very start when he introduce himself to Jennie that he's trying to hit on her. But fuck it ! I don't have any right to stop him from doing that ! Jennie's not mine and I don't want her to feel that I'm controlling who can she be friend to. I love her to that point that I will support her from any decision she will made, even if that means that she wants to be friend with Kai. I will not forbid her.

"Lili ? You hugging me so tight.," Jennie said that make me back to reality. I didn't notice that I'm hugging her shoulder so tight, I quickly loosen my grip and caress her shoulder.

"Oh shit ! I'm sorry Nini... I didn't know that I'm already hugging you that tight. Are you okay ? Does it hurt so much ???," I said. Wth Lisa ? You're hurting her !

"I'm okay Lili, don't worry. But why are spacing out ? Are you thinking about something serious ? ," Jennie look so concern then cup my face. I can't look straight into her eyes so I bow my head and decide to just left a deep sigh.

"Lili.. is there something bothering you ? Tell me... ," I feel her soft fingers rubbing gently my cheeks while making me look at her. We stare for a few more seconds before I decided that I can't escape her right now, I know she will still bug me to know what am I thinking, but I can't tell her now. I don't want to look so immature that just because of those text I'm being like this.
