Those Strange Feelings

CHAPTER 24

JENNIE'S POV

"I said stay, Lisa ," I said to her and walk towards my closet. I don't know what got into me but after hearing what she just said to who ever it is on her phone I feel so annoy.

"But- how can you change your clothes if-- ," I look at her and raise my left brow.

"Then close your eyes. ," I rolled my eyes on her. She look so puzzle for the first five seconds but eventually close her eyes.

I pick my favorite black pajama and wear it. Lisa is still closing her eyes tightly and I can't help but to smirk seeing her very uncomfortable now.

I sit on the edge of the bed and gently brushing my hair without making any noise.

"N-nini ? Are you done ? ," she ask and I just hummed for response. I tap my bed to make her sit beside me in which she slowly obliged. Lisa look so scared at me right now hahahaha !

"Explain. ," I flatly said and face her.

"W-what ? What am I going to explain ? ," she furrow her brows looking so confuse.

"A lot. Why you look so down earlier while were eating then suddenly you seems so happy now after talking to who ever it is on your phone," I paused myself and think if I am going to ask her this. "Who is it Lisa-yah ? ," I said and look down on the floor.

She laugh while hitting her knees like I'm a telling some joke on her. Arghh ! I'm pretty serious here !

I slap her shoulder and gave her a deadly look.

"Yah ! What's funny huh ?! I'm being serious here Lisa !," I said. She calm herself and face me, her smile is still visible.

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it Nini.," she hold both of my hands and shook her head. "So, that's the reason why you're being so grumpy at me tonight ? ," she added.

"So what ?,"I rolled my eyes on her " I thought you don't need my hugs anymore co'z you look so damn happy now. You can leave my room Lisa ," I said and start lying down on my bed and prepare to sleep.

"Nini... its because of my mom okay ? No need to feel jealous baby...," she softly said while running up and down her left hand on my shoulder. I look at her and sit again.

"Because of you mother ? What about her ? -- and what did you just called me ?? Baby ??," I don't know what should I ask first. HAYST.

"Yes, I miss her, baby and yes ," I look at her, completely puzzled to what she have said.

"That's my answers to all of your questions Nini. You asked if my behavior earlier is because of my mother and I said yes. Second, you asked what about her and I said because I miss her. Next, you asked again what I'd just called you and I said Baby. Lastly, you ask again if its baby and I said yes.... ," she suddenly paused and cup my face with her warm hands ," you are my baby ," she sincerely said and look directly into my eyes. I can't utter even just a single word.

"So... can I get my hugs now ? ," she move her brows up and down while smiling sheepishly. Ahh ! This woman !

"Come.. and get your hugs Monkey," I said and spread my arms, gesturing her to hug me. She squeal and quickly wrap her arms on my waist. I hug her tight and I can't help but to sniff the scent of her hair. Even her hair smell so damn good !
