When I first thought of this, I planned on ending this with Amay dying after handing over Arlo to Samar but then Ray decided that he wouldn't let Amay die and changed it all.

Then I started exploring other ends and somehow the hill always appeared. No matter how much I tried to put Samar back in Amay's life, Sally would always come up and demonstrate her refusal to back down.

Then Arlo appeared after growing up darker than I could have ever imagined and changed so many things.

Now in case you are wondering if there's going to be a sequel. Well I can safely say that there's more to their stories, especially Arlo, Amay and Paul and someday I might even write about them if enough people want it because if it's done, it will be of a very different vibe.

For now, I plan on trying to finish some of the other things I started before working on it. This is the first one I have been able to get to something of a finish and I would like this for the other stories as well. It would be great if you guys can check some of my other stories and give your reviews.

At some point, I intend to edit and add some things to the first part of the book, flesh out the characters a bit more. I think I need to update the synopsis of the story as well. If you have any ideas, I would be happy to hear them.

Here's hoping that I return to this universe soon. Your reviews, comments and votes will help a lot in the same. Lots of love. Stay safe.
