"Wait what?" I ask in shock. My mother, father, Fury and myself are sitting in the living room.

"We want you to come and work for S.H.E.I.L.D." Fury repeats. My head starts spinning.

"He can't right now. He is just getting out of the hospital." My mom says.

"We know that. I mean after he gets the ok from the doctors." Fury says.

"Where would he be working? Would he be working with Bruce and I?" Dad asks.

"For the first little bit yes. But after that if he proves to have the talent he will be trained with Agent Barton and Agent Romenoff." Fury says.

"Sweet." I say as I get up and go-to the kitchen. "You you like anything to drink director?"

"No thank you Aaron." He says.

"Mom? Dad?" I ask.

"No thanks sweety." Mom says.

"I'll take a coke." Dad says. They continue talking while I grab my sad a coke and look for what I want. I keep looking and looking until I find it, a juice box. I grab one and then Bri walks in rubbing her eyes. She just got up from her nap. So I grab her a juice box and us both a pack of animal crackers.

"Come on Bri. Lets go to the living room." I say and she grabs my hand and we go sit down. I hand my dad his coke and sit. Then Bri climbs into my lap. I open her juice box and give it to her and open our animal crackers and hand hers to her and open my juice box. We just sit there and eat our snacks. Dad just chuckles.

"You two are so much alike." Dad says. Mom looks over and smiles.

"So Aaron what do you say?" Fury asks.

"Hmmmm.... I don't know. What do you think Bri? Should I go work for Fury?" I ask and she looks at me then at Fury.

"Ou eyepach?" She asks and I laugh.

"No I don't have to get an eye patch." I say.

"Otay. Ou ork wif him." She says giving me a nod.

"Alright Fury. I accept." I say. He nods and stands I follow suite while holding onto Bri.

"Welcome to S.H.E.I.L.D." He says as we shake hands.

"Thank you sir. I am glad to be apart of it." I say and he smiles.

"You have grown into a fine young man Aaron. I remember when you first met me. You took one look at me then ran back to your father crying." He says with a chuckle and I smile.

"I can't help it. You were scary!" I say and he laughs.

"Ah! Aaron you are going to be fun to work with." He says with a smile. "Well I better get going." He says as he goes to leave. Bri hands him a animal cracker.

"Thank you Bryella." He says then he leaves.

"Wow my baby is going to work with S.H.E.I.L.D." Mom say shaking her head as I sit back down with Bri as we continue with our snack.

"Yeah. Are you ok with that?" I ask and she sighs.

"I guess I am." She gets up and leaves. I look at dad and he jerks his head towards mom telling me to go after her.I get up and go the direction that mom did. I find he in the spare office. I knock on the door.

"Mom?" I say. She doesn't answer. I hear her sniff. I walk over to her.

"Mom?" She turns and looks at me. "Are you ok?"

"Oh Aaron. I'm afraid." She says as she looks at me with red eyes.

"Of what mom?"

"When your father was captured by the terrorist in the desert I was scared to death even though at the time I wouldn't admit it. Then when he came back he was like a totally different man. That change was good. But after New York. He started having nightmares, he hardly slept, he never ate. He was a changes man but the change was not good. He still struggles with it. You know that. That's why he he gets up in the middle of the night and goes to the lab." She says and I nod.
