When I awoke back at the hospital, my nurse Melisa came to my room.

"Are you okay?"

"No."

"Overdid it?"

"Not really, just wasn't prepared for the next thing to happen to me."

"Men suck."

I looked at her.

"How'd you know?"

"The look on your face tells a great story Lindsay."

"I don't know if I can handle the next part of this great story."

"Hear the man out and go from there. You're here, you're safe and if anyone tries anything with you, I'll take their head off for you."

I smiled.

"Thanks."

"Nurses kick ass."

"I just want the truth. I hate being here getting these treatments while my husband has other women around our children. Lord only knows what he's doing with her, what he's telling my babies and what the hell he's planning for them all."

Randy came back into the room.

"I DON'T WANT YOU HERE!" I screamed in between tears.

"You heard her, she wants you to go."

"I came to see her."

"She, obviously, doesn't want to see you, so go."

"Look, I didn't want to be the one to tell you but I knew no one else would. They're all tied into the total divas bullshit and your precious husband..."

"What?" I asked.

"Your husband is going to work very close to me in the upcoming weeks. You will be too unless you want no part of this story line. I'd understand."

"You wouldn't understand, Randy. Tell Paul, Stephanie, even Colby I'll be back on the road as soon as I'm able. I've got this."

I looked up at the ceiling.

"What are you doing, Linds?"

"My own father decides after all this time to find me just to tell me to quit. My mother only wanted me to get money then dies because I wouldn't give it to her. My psychotic brother is out of jail because of all the fucked up shit his friends and himself did to me while I stayed with him and now my own husband quite possibly is cheating on me while I'm dying from cancer! You tell me what the fuck I could possibly doing Randall Keith!"

I broke out in tears. I didn't know what else to do. Randy, looking at me in a mixture of guilt and pain came to my side and put his arms around me.

"Honey, it's okay. You're going to get through this."

"I don't want my daughters to forget me."

"They will never forget how much you went through for them. They will never forget you."

That's when my phone rang.

"Lindsay Lopez."

"Hey Bug,"

"Hey,"

"When are you coming back to work?"

"Another three weeks."

"Well, I have some weird news for you."

I looked up at the ceiling once more.

"Are you leaving me?"
