Boyfriends ~Byler

Awake

Will rolled out two sleeping bags on his bedroom floor. He could've slept in his own bed, but didn't want Mike to feel inferior. And he maybe wanted to sleep next to Mike. Just a little.

"Alright Mike, it's all set up. Should we go to bed then? It's like 10:00." Will yawned.

"Sure." As Mike got settled into his sleeping bag, Will couldn't help but notice how cute he looked all snuggled up in soft pajamas. 

Will blushed when Mike shifted his gaze to him. 

"The stars are shining bright tonight. I can almost see Castle Byers," Mike said softly. 

"Yeah." Will replied. He was at a loss for words, really. He was having a sleepover with his longtime crush after he went on a date with him. These turn of events have really been a breath of fresh air since his time in the upside down. 

"Hey Will?" Mike brought him out of his thoughts.

Will turned his head in Mike's direction.

"What are we?" Mike asked quietly.

To that, Will stayed silent. He didn't know how to respond to that. Were they officially dating? He didn't want to take anything too fast, if Mike wasn't ready to call them that. 

"Like....are we....boyfriends?" Mike's face started to heat up.

Will responded with; "If you want to be...I'd love to be your boyfriend, Mike."

Neither of the two of them could fall asleep after that.

Will was lying facing the wall, blushing like mad. Did I really say that? And did he really say yes? Is Mike Wheeler really my boyfriend? 

Mike was experiencing a similar thing, but instead of questioning it; he felt extremely happy and grateful. 

The two lied awake well into the morning, appreciated each others' presence silently and smiling internally at the turn of events that had happened, and the events that were yet to happen.

So, I changed the name of my story to Boyfriends ~Byler because Crazy Together is pretty popular in the Byler fanfictions. I kept the picture  and the description the same for the time being though, so hopefully you can still find it.
