Telling

While Mike and Will were enjoying their first breakfast as a couple, Joyce came into the kitchen. "Hello boys, I have to go to work soon. How did you sleep?" She asked before grabbing a coat and keys. 

"Uh, not that well." Will admitted.

"Oh?" Joyce asked. "Did something happen?" She questioned worriedly.

"Nothing bad, but yeah..." Will responded. Will glanced at Mike, who nodded encouragingly. "So..this may come as a shock, but Mike and I are dating." Will told his mom quickly.

For a second she stayed silent, Will's heart thundering in his chest. But the corners of her mouth rose in a smile. "I had an inkling this might happen. Don't worry Will, I'll love you no matter what. Thank you for making my son happy, Mike." Joyce ruffled Will's hair before leaving the house. 

Will's heart rate slowed as he stayed still, in shock. He looked over at Mike and smiled widely. 

Will had hoped his mother would be supportive and was happily correct. He reached over to Mike and hugged him.

Mike cherished the warmth of the smaller boy on himself. He couldn't help but think of how adorable he was. Will looked up and their eyes met. Both boys blushed crimson.

Once Mike's face returned to a usual shade of freckled tan, he gained a nervous composure. 

"What's wrong?" Will asked softly.

Mike shifted anxiously. "That went really well, but I'm kind of scared about how my parents will react."

I'm sorry about the long break I took, I've just been focused on other things. On the plus side I got a new computer! I will try my best to create an actual update schedule for this so plz don't stop reading T^T 

So.. just a fair warning the next chapter may have some angst so if you aren't emotionally prepared for that I advise you skip the next chapter. I'm sorry I just think the story needs more realistic drama. Yeah I know y'all enjoy the fluff and want a kiss, I'm sorry. We'll get there.
