Tears

Mike hesitantly pulled himself off his bike, placing it behind the Byers' house.
He wiped the tears from his eyes, though a few still rolled down his cheeks.

Mike took a few deep breaths to calm himself, though he still wanted to cry. He tried to keep his composure as he walked to Will's door, though his knees were shaking. He rang the doorbell.

A few seconds passed before Will came to the door. His eyes widened when he saw Mike, looking frightened and sad on his doorstep.  "W-what happened?" he stuttered worriedly. 

There was a second's pause as Mike fiddled with his hands. "I'm so sorry, Will. I-I came out to my parents..." He rubbed his eyes with the backs of his hands; "and my Mom was fine with it, but my d-dad...well, he- he kicked me out." Mike covered his face with his hands. 

Will gasped and covered his mouth with his hand. Even he started tearing up. "Mike, I'm so sorry." He reached out and hugged his taller boyfriend, holding him tight. "You can stay here as long as you need. Don't worry about it, I'm sure my Mom will be fine with it." Will reassured him. Joyce had always seen Mike as like another son. 

"Did you bring anything, or did you not have the chance to?" Will asked, still hugging Mike. Mike let go of Will to pull his walkie talkie, some change, a few dice, a watch, some keys, and assorted papers from his pockets. 

"And I managed to throw some clothes in my gym bag, which is outside with my bike. I didn't really have much time, so I just grabbed the first stuff I thought of." Mike told Will, looking regretful.  

When Will lead Mike inside, Joyce, who had been watching TV, turned over in their direction. "I see you've brought a friend, Will, who intends to spend the night?" She inquired. 

"Um, well, Mike actually might have to spend a few nights. He tried to tell his parents he's bisexual and Ted didn't take it well. Let's just say, he won't be going back anytime soon." Will explained quietly. 

Joyce's face immediately showed an expression of sympathy. "However long you need, Mike." She said softly. "I'm so sorry." 

"Thanks Ms. Byers." Mike smiled. 

Mike and Will headed to Will's room. Joyce smiled.

"Seriously, thank you so much. I'm sorry this happened." Mike looked down at the floor.

Will reached over and held Mike's hand, causing them both to blush. "It's not at all your fault. Really." Will stared into Mike's eyes for a few moments, his face getting redder.

"Um, can I..can I kiss you?" he asked Will, his face crimson. 

Will blushed harder, but nodded. Mike leaned forward, placing his lips on his boyfriend's. They were soft, and reminded him of  cotton candy. Will placed his hands around Mike's neck, holding him tightly. Mike felt Will's warmth when he put his hand on his face. 

Will leaned back against his bedroom wall, hugging Mike close to him. Their tongues intertwined, the two lovebirds finally separated, gasping for breath. At this point they were both blushing ruby red. 

"Our first kiss.." Mike stated, still inches away from his small boyfriend. "And...your first kiss ever?" Mike realized. 

Will nodded, embarrassed, but smiling slightly. 

"Didn't seem like it." Mike told him. The two awkwardly avoided eye contact as they held hands. 

As their silence was becoming more comfortable, Joyce knocked on the door. Startled, Will answered, "come in, Mom." 

She opened the door to see the two blushing boys holding hands on Will's bed. "Oh, was I interrupting something?" she asked with a smirk, which caused them both to blush even more, if possible. "Just wanted to say dinner is ready." And with that, she left. 

The two boyfriends shared a smile before leaving the room.

Whew, that was long! But clearly, quite important. 

For now, there may be a little less angst and more fluff, but the angst isn't over juuuust yet. Sorry. 

Also, I made some changes to the Rejection chapter. I changed it so Mike isn't gay, he's bisexual. Sorry about that mistake, I just feel like bisexual fits his character more. 

I might focus on the rest of the squad too, like Dustin and Lucas and El and Max. I might even get them all together where Mike and Will can come out and tell the group they're dating...🤔 yeah, I like that idea. Now I'm gonna go read some fanfic, watch the Office and plan stuff.
