Asumi's feet pattered against the steps of the staircase. The further she went, the colder it got. It was cooler than the rest of the house, unusually cooler to say the least.

At least the corridor floors were covered in carpet to keep her feet warm. The floor would have frosted her heels if they weren't.

Asumi continued to walk down the corridor which surprisingly, wasn't as long as she thought it was. She came to halt by a set of tremendous-sized doors that towered over Asumi.

She placed her palms over its surface that felt warmer than the rest of the hallway and began to push them open to reveal a gorgeous, but intimidating room. The Underground Tomb was much different than what Asumi had expected.

An enormous hallway, perhaps similar to a chapel combined with a bit of a Hogwarts atmosphere, but not sacred. From the roof, a rainbow of chandeliers outlined the corridor with just enough radiance to barely illuminate the space. The grounds were made up of what seemed to be marble with a mix of a precious stone, and the ceiling was high; very high for Asumi's standards.

By the end, there were two grand statues, both of them females, bearing wings and halos. Asumi squinted her eyes a bit at the other statue. She looked almost identical to Asumi but... how?

Both statues had a bouquet of flowers at the foot of their bases and it seemed like they haven't wilted in a few centuries. In the middle of the two, was a black leather book levitating in some sphere-shaped barrier.

"Oh, you've arrived already?" a voice spoke.

Asumi jumped as she looked up to see a spirit lingering in the air. It was in the form of a glowing ball of brilliant white light. "My apologies! Did I scare you?" the spirit spoke again in a calm manner.

"You're the one who called me..? That voice I heard back in the Assembly Hall that day and last night. That was you?" Asumi blinked. "Mhm," the orb echoed. "Nice to meet you, Asumi."

The sound of the voice indicated that the spirit was a she.

"Your voice... it sounds exactly like mine," Asumi commented in awe. "Heh, let's just say that you're me... but human, and the rest is a secret," the orb giggled. "Wha...?" Asumi tilted her head to the side in utter confusion.

"Ah... D-don't mind what I said," the voice stammered "but for now, I think it's best you don't understand until later. You've only just arrived in the Devildom after all."

"Oh..." Asumi said, rather a bit disappointed. "Aw, don't look so down! I promise that you'll understand when you learn more about the brothers, okay?" the orb said in a hopeful voice. "Whatever do you mean by that?" Asumi asked. "Just take it slowly and I promise you'll figure it out," it replied.

"Can the brothers see you?" Asumi asked. "It's not just they can't hear me. They can't even see me. All I can do is create miracles around the house for them every now and then," the spirit explained, "it's the least I can do to make it up for my passing."

"Then... why can I see you? I'm only a human," Asumi asked. "Huh... That's a good question, but I'm still uncertain of my answers. But I think it's best you leave now. It's almost midnight, and you wouldn't want Lucifer discovering you were down here," the spirit cleared its voice.
