The Next Morning...

Asumi wiped the sweat off her face as she happily glanced at the food she, Solomon, and Barbatos had prepared. The steaming plates of food smelled amazing as the scent started to linger around the place with a breathtaking aroma.

"We did it!" Asumi sighed. "Indeed. I didn't know you were such a clean cook, Asumi," Barbatos smiled. "It was worth getting up early," Asumi chuckled, yawning a bit afterwards. "Calm down, Asumi. You're sweating too much," Solomon laughed as he handed her a cup of water.

"Thanks," Asumi replied and took a sip of the cup, "we should tell the others to head down. We can't let the food get cold, now can we?"

Solomon nodded in agreement as letting the food get cold would be a waste. Asumi decided to go to her room first since getting Belphegor out of bed was going to take some time, which wasn't surprising with the title of the Avatar of Sloth.

Slowly but surely, one brother after the other arrived by the dining room and who else would be the one to enter the area first other than Beelzebub? He could smell the food from the bedroom. "That smells good... Can I have some of it?" he drooled.

Asumi slapped Beelzebub's hand lightly as he tried to grab it. "Not now Beel, we're waiting until everyone is here," Asumi smiled. The demon pouted but sat down at the table. Asmodeus and Satan were not long in coming and brought a sleepy Belphegor with them. He was half asleep on his pillow when Satan pulled off his collar.

"Gosh, Belphie, you're heavier than you look!" Satan groaned. "I think you're just not strong enough..." Asmodeus muttered. "You know, some help would have been nice," Satan rolled his eyes.

Barbatos gave Asumi a small smile as the two went back to the kitchen. Asumi heard Luke's high voice pass by with Simeon and couldn't hold back her soft smile. She quickly helped Barbatos and Solomon pack the food onto the trolley so they didn't need to go back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room.

The trio set foot in the dining hall where everyone was finally seated and began to put out the dishes they cooked. It was still a bit early, but the aroma helped them stay awake. Lord Diavolo grinned brightly. "This looks excellent, you three! I can't wait to try the tastebuds of the human world!" he said.

"That's sweet of you, Lord Dia," Asumi said. "Of course, Sumi! After all, my dream is to help the three worlds," Diavolo chuckled. Lucifer stared at the two with confusion written all over his face. "Since when did you two share nicknames?" he spoke. "Why? Do you feel left out, Lucifer?" Diavolo smirked. Lucifer blinked. "Don't you dare!" he huffed.

Asumi and Diavolo exchanged glances before giggling in unison. "Lucy~" they cackled, Lucifer's face slowly turning beet red as he tried to suppress the arising flushness.

Barbatos placed a mat on the middle of the table to protect the tablecloth from stains, while Solomon put the cutlery down by everyone. His eyes met Leviathan's and cocked his head questioningly as the demon paled. "Is something wrong Leviathan?" Solomon asked.

The demon quickly shook his head, leaned to his younger brother, Beelzebub, and whispered. "Did Solomon cook too...?!" Leviathan whispered. Beelzebub got pale as well. "I hope not..." he replied.

On the other side of the table, Asumi sat between Mammon and Satan, Mammon unable to hide his blush. "I hope it tastes good! We put in our best effort," Asumi smiled. "One can see that," Lucifer assured and gave her a calm look. He seemed even more tired than usual. Asumi wondered if he had trouble falling asleep, then again, she should consider asking Belphegor.
