Asumi stood there, still utterly confused.
"I'm sorry... Who?" Asumi shook her head. "The woman we speak of, her name is Queen Genevieve," Diavolo replied. "She is a half-breed of elf and demon and is known for the horrific but great deeds she has done to the realms."
"I've read numerous amount of scrolls that held a lot of legends about Queen Genevieve. She's very advanced in magic and can even overpower an army of demons," Solomon placed a hand on his chin. He seemed to be trying to recall something. "The most recent one I've read was over 500 years ago. I was researching Celestial Realm history at that time with Asmo."
Asmodeus gasped as he clapped his hands in realization.
"Yes, I do recall indulging myself in one of your study sessions, Solomon! Genevieve is a genius, a wise sorceress and a master of the dark arts. She had something against the royal family and went after them and their baby. That was the first war since 1086 AD," Asmodeus proclaimed, "before the war, the king and queen sent their baby away to another angel family who lived in one of their sub-realms and sought shelter due to the queen still recovering from the birth. But... Genevieve found and killed them. Once the war was over, she was brought up and banished."
"Exactly. However, if Luke did see Queen Genevieve in the Underground Tomb, she must have broke the banishment curse somehow," Solomon finished. "You brothers could be in grave danger," Diavolo implied.
Asumi glared at the portrait of the woman, curiosity beaming in her eyes. She felt some kind of pull after looking at it for a bit too long and pulled back. She was sure she saw a mysterious twinkle in Queen Genevieve's eye, or it was probably her imagination. Asumi blinked a few times to clear her head before she finally turned away from the villain's portrait.
"Ah, I see... So that's why you all seem so darkened by her," Asumi raised her head. "But we managed to get ourselves away from her for the most part," Beelzebub smiled.
"But we have to keep an even closer eye on the human now. I mean, who knows if that sorceress is actually after the human!" Leviathan gasped. "Sheesh, that old lady probably doesn't want anything to do with her. I mean the only demons she knows is us, so I don't see—" Mammon said as he rolled his eyes, but he cut off mid-sentence when he turned around.
He tapped Lucifer's shoulder to get his attention. "What do you want, Mam...mon..." Lucifer trailed off as soon as he laid his eyes on what Mammon was looking at. Satan gasped, getting everybody else's attention to another painting in Diavolo's castle.
"No... How come I haven't seen... Is it really-?" Lucifer muttered as he looked at the portrait. "Lucifer?" Diavolo raised a brow. The Avatar of Pride shook his head and smiled, something that the brothers hadn't seen him do in a while.
"There she is," he said. "The princess!" Beelzebub cheered. "Geez! When was the last we ever saw her face?" Mammon chuckled. The Avatar of Sloth tugged on Asumi's sleeve in anticipation.
"Asumi, that's who I was talking about. That's the princess of the Celestial Realm!" Belphegor said. The brown-haired human blinked at the unexpected excitement that displayed on the brothers' faces.
"You two look so similar! And the fact that you both have the same name, it's crazy!" Luke chimed. "Yeah, her name is Asumi too. Though, the only difference in your name is your last name. The Princess' is Yukimura," Leviathan nodded.
The dark-haired angel turned to face the brown-haired human with a bashful look on his face.
"Honestly, I almost mistook you for the princess when I first saw you, Asumi. For a brief moment, I thought you were actually her," Simeon admitted with a laugh. "Am I truly that radiant, Simeon? It's probably just a coincidence," Asumi teased.
