Timeskip: After School. . .
Melody and Asumi walked back to the House of Lamentation after they left the Headless Cafe to get themselves some Shadow Coffee like Melody promised. Asumi could only keep up a mask for so long as if that whole connection situation didn't bother her, so as soon as Melody dropped her off, her smile faded.
She walked inside the House of Lamentation to only see Asmodeus, Mammon, and Leviathan chatting by the entrance.
"Ahhh! The class was so boring!" Asmodeus whined. "Really? I loved it!" Leviathan cheered. "Of course, ya did... All the professor talked about was TSL and how some events in the series links to real events in the Devildom... A nerd like you would obviously like it," Mammon rolled his eyes. "Hey! At least I pass my grades!" Leviathan huffed.
Just then Asmodeus turned his head to find Asumi standing by the doorway. "Ah, Asumi! I didn't notice you there. Welcome home~!" he squealed, strutting over to the human to wrap his arms around Asumi. "Hi, Asmo... Had a good day?" Asumi smiled.
"You're too considerate! Mine was brilliant!" Asmodeus blossomed. "That's nice. Can't say as much for me, but I'm doing just fine. What are you all up to?" Asumi smiled.
"We're just talkin' about History Class... and how much TSL was a bore!" Mammon stated. "Hey! You take that back!" Leviathan gasped.
Asumi playfully rolled her eyes before quietly walking to the twins' room. She sighed quietly, plopping her bottom onto the soft cushions on the couch. That glowing spirit... her being able to see and hear them... an angel, her? There could be no possible way that she and that ball of light had a connection, and besides, Asumi doesn't know anyone in her family who looks and sounds like her except herself.
How can it be?
Just then, a shifting noise rang in the room as Asumi jumped. Belphegor was sitting up in his bed stretching, and he seemed to still be in his RAD uniform. How did he sleep in those clothes anyway? "Oh, it's you, Belphie! I didn't notice you there," Asumi gasped. "Of course you didn't. Besides, you were too busy thinking about whatever you were thinking about," Belphie yawned.
"What's on your mind?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Just... school stuff."
"Really? I don't think you'd be down over school stuff. Unless Belphie needs to smack a b*tch for you, then I don't think you'd mope over something like RAD schoolwork."
"It's nothing serious, Belphegor. I promise."
"If you say so, Asumi."
Asumi crossed her legs as she swung off her RAD jacket, her teal-green collared shirt letting her breathe properly. Beelzebub then walked in with a bunch of bags from Hell's Kitchen. They were a bunch of Gigadeath Burgers."Hey, Beel. What's with all those Gigadeath Burgers?" Asumi chuckled in amusement.
"I kinda got hungry on the way back, so I got a few for now, later, and tonight," Beelzebub smiled, most likely munching on his 11th burger. "Umm... more like a meal to feed a hundred mouths," Asumi blinked. "Eh, don't worry, Asumi. You'll get used to it," Belphegor said, rather groggily.
"Why, you want one?" Beelzebub asked, handing out a brown paper bag. "Can I have one?" Asumi chuckled, taking the bag with a smile.
Beelzebub plopped onto his bed, gleefully chowing down on his dozen bags of burgers as Asumi ended up chatting with Belphie for the majority of the afternoon.
Asumi even remembered to keep her promise to Beelzebub, and he helped her make a few fresh batches of custard for him to snack on for later.
It was now around the time where dinner was finally prepared. Asumi quietly chatted with Mammon as she laughed at all the dumb things he mentioned.
