_______________________________________________________________________________________________

You slowly open your eyes, taking in a deep breath through your nose before exhaling through the mouth. You look up at your wooden ceiling, noticing the bright morning light shining onto it, lighting up the room. You get up and sit on the bed, rubbing the sleep and exhaustion from your eyes and yawning in slight exhaustion. You look around the room, nothing was changed, Natsu was on his perch bed in the corner still snoozing away, the door still closed, and Shoji's bed was still neatly made and empty...Shoji...how long has it been? 6 months? Over a year now? How was he?

U/N: Just a few more days...just need to wait.

You looked to the right and noticed the time on the clock: 11:00AM.

This was odd to you, it was a normal timestamp for waking up sure, just not for you, you found it very confusing that you would wake up at this time...usually it was around midnight or early morning...and not in your room, more likely on the couch in the living room.

It was that, and the fact that you didn't have a nightmare this time, every night since Omega made himself physically appear your sleep has been plagued with nightmares again....that was the first time in almost over 2 months that you woke up at a normal time without a nightmare waking you up in a sweat with your heart racing and you reaching for the closest weapon in the middle of the night. You didn't have any problems with not having any nightmares of course, you were grateful actually, but it still confused you, especially with what was in place of the nightmare instead.............Flashes of numbers, letters and symbols along with fragments of a sentence in place of screaming, evisceration and death. Sure it was a slightly better alternative, but it still left you in a daze regardless.

What was happening?

You had a feeling it had something to do with your "condition", if you could call it that. In other words the voice in your head, Omega. You had a feeling it involved him in some way, ever since he showed up your knowledge of certain things increased along with your senses and reflexes, but at the same time it resulted in insomnia from periodic nightmares, though you're starting to think that that has more to do with your grief than him.

He had knowledge on Percival and this Grievence faction, and this Alpha and your connection to her through Omega. So you were sure he knew something about this...after all, most of this was because of him in the first place. You didn't hate him for it though, he didn't ask to bond to you. And you didn't know anything about this in the first place.

The relationship between you and this "thing" has been...complicated...he's cryptic with his explanations along with a sarcastic personality, along with joking comments that irritate the living hell out of you. Then again you haven't exactly been the nicest to him either, seeing him as more of a nuisance than a help, only recently you've been able to see eye to eye on certain things, mostly combat though, and if you think about it, it's more to just help you stay alive for his(and technically your) mission. But you didn't really mind being used as some vessel to do his work, and he didn't mind being used as some sixth sense either.
