Floor 25, Meke.
There are many things about Sword Art Online that you could complain about, from the simple boring dialogue of the Npcs to the way the teleport action lags from time to time, you never really had a problem with it since it didn't affect you in a big way, but out of everything SAO, this made you about 10 times more grumpy when waking up: Floor 25.
It was the exact same type of Floor you were on a month ago before it was cleared, wet, gloomy and slimy and full of an excesive amount of dangerous traps.
'Seriously Kayaba, I know it would be hard designing 100 floors, but making one the exact same as the previous? That is just horrible design! And it sucks!!!' You said to yourself, you weren't particularly fond of places that are marshy and wet, it made you uncomfortable.
You were currently sitting on bench around the outskirts of the main town, Natsu taking another nap on your lap, it was raining lightly and it was around 2pm. You were tapping your foot against the damp grass, "She's late." You said out loud. Then a feminine voice spoke up behind you. "Well, ya' know what they say..." You turned to see the source, a blonde girl wearing a light brown cloak, holding dark eyes, and 3 red lines supposed to represent whiskers on each side of her face. She continued: "Fortune rewards the patient."
"Argo, I have never heard anyone say that, ever." You said in an amused tone. She chuckled in response. "What took you so long anyway? You always said you were the best info broker on everything, including punctuality." You asked. "Well I got an unexpected call in from our favourite Kirito. He was paying high for info on a hidden dungeon I coincidentally knew about. So I took my No.1 client for being a little late for our meetin'." She vaulted over and sat next to you, and threw her arm over your shoulders. "But don't be so upset though, ya' always should be happy yer' my favourite No.2." She said with a grin.
"Flattery won't get you extra cash from me." You said. Argo just grinned in reply retracting her hand. "Eh, worth a try. But anyways, I got the info ya' asked and paid fer'." She said. Your face went back to your serious mood. "So what did you find out?" You asked.
"Well a guild known as 'The Aincrad Liberation Force' has moved into a small village on the south marshes, they're a roughly large group of about 45 players and that includes the leader, ya' might remember him: Kibaou." Your eyes widened.
Kibaou, a name you really didn't want to hear again. You remember back after clearing floor 1 that the main party had split into two groups that ended up becoming two large guilds, first one being The Aincrad Liberation Force led by your biggest headache, and the second one being The Holy Dragon Alliance led by player named Lind, someone who was friends with Kibaou, so in short another headache. You calmed yourself to talk to Argo.
"What are they doing here?" You asked her. "Well from what I've found out, it seems that they plan to head over to the dungeon and clear this floor somewhere around the next 2 months." "That seems a bit reckless don't you think? I mean they're good and all but they don't have enough skilled players nor knowledge of this floor's traps."
"Yer' right about that, they actually lost 2 players already by the time they got there, got ambushed by a band of Hobgoblins, but Kiboau has an iron grip on their loyalty, he can hold a crowd's attention that's fer' sure. He's using the words of that one player... What was his name again? Uh... Daviel? Dabi?-"
