(A/N:Note, that the choice you made in the previous chapter now changes the possible outcome of the next one, and will later on reveal a story point exclusive only to that chosen character, the entire situation of your capture and it's outcome is different between the three options, not only does it determine how the situation unfolds, but with the voted character, it determines how damaged or undamaged you will escape this situation. So please be aware of this, and be ready for any shocking or upsetting outcome due to the choice of your rescuer.)
(Now please.......Enjoy the prologue of your decisions.) :3
*Lavira POV*
Floor 7.
Refugee/Civilian Encampment.
1 hour before U/N was ambushed.
***********************************
I lift up another crate of food up and unto a wagon, once inside I push it further in, ensuring it won't fall out. I walk to the side of the wooden carriage and hit it two times. Causing the rider to make the carriage move forward, to which it does so for about 20 feet before taking a left turn and going out of sight. I hear footsteps behind me, and turn around to see Arnier approaching me.
Arnier: Was that the last one?
Lavira: Has to be, that was the last of the supplies. *stretches* How were things on your end?
Arnier: Pretty ok, I still got another two areas to sort out by the west end.
Lavira: Just you? What happened to Elanor? She's supposed to help you out.
Arnier: She messeged that she had to go meet up with one of her info-brokers on Floor 50, Argo I think. Something about a possible lead on that "Hollow Area" or something.
I sigh as I walk over and lean against a stone fence. Growing irritated at the broker leader for leaving without warning.
Lavira: *pinches bridge of nose* She could've given a little heads up, instead of just leaving and telling us later.
Arnier: *chuckles, and leans on fence* Yeah well, that is her style. Very unorthodox, very much inconvenient. But it gets the job done.
Lavira(malice): Among other things.......
Arnier: Okkaaay? I sense something spiteful from that statement, is there....something you wanna talk about?
Lavira: Not really.
Arnier: Oh, ok....*sighs* Is everything all right with you?
Lavira: I said I'm fine Arnier.
Arnier: You don't sound fine. *chuckles* To me you sound like you wanna strangle her with her own sassy ego.
I tried to hold in a chuckle, as to hold my composure, but couldn't and let out a series of very stifled chuckles and huffs. This action clearly surprises my guildmate.
Arnier:*nervously smiles* Heh, didn't think you could laugh, let alone me being able to make you.
Lavira: Nah, it's just the joke. It's funny cause it's true, she's got enough sass for the whole guild to share.
The two of us then chuckle for a few seconds. A flock of birds passing above us, I look up, staring at the stone ceiling.
Arnier: Hehe, yeah. *looks to her* Say....what's the deal between you two anyway?
Lavira: *looks back* What do you mean?
Arnier: You and Elanor, you're always so tense towards each other, and I know it's not in the bad sense, but it's still there.
